    Hi Jason and Staff.

    I meant to do this months ago when I last picked up the car. Time got away, I am now on holidays and crossing things off my list. It is a pleasure to write a review about Pearson Automotive. You guys have looked after our family cars I think now for over ten years now. In that time I have seen your business change and grow. But never have you lost sight of being customer focused and turning out quality work. Good news, we have a new edition to the family. My daughter has just got a Toyota Corolla and most definitely she will be bringing it to you in the future to be looked after

    I am a long time customer of Pearson Automotive of some 8 years now. Another customer (a work collegue) put me onto Jase and I have never looked back. He has always done the right thing by my husband and i and has always been fair with his bills and his advice.

    In my experience, being a woman and taking your car to a mechanic is often a negative experience. I feel most mechanics often judge you for not knowing knowing anything about cars and then overcharge you and take advantage of that. My FIRST experence with Jase and the guys at Pearson Automotive was far from this and I would say the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic. The service was exceptional and we felt they went the extra mile for us.

    Car servicing can be stressful but his team made it stress-free and explained everything in detail. BEST car service I had ever had and still continue to get the same quality service 8 years down the track.

    We have 3 cars that go to see the boys at Pearson Automotive. It wont be long before our sons car goes their also, once he has his licence.

    A repair to my steering took a very long time, almost 6 weeks...however to be fair, the car had to be assessed by the insurance adjuster. I wasn't kept informed throughout the process....I left a couple of messages and didn't have my calls returned, which left me wondering. The job was done very thoroughly which is reassuring..... it was over $4,000 for the insurer.

    When the job was finally finished I transferred the insurance excess on-line, and sent the payment receipt numbers to the owner and pursed collection of the car. The owner and I fell-out, as he flatly refused me my car until he could see the cleared funds in his bank. I had to go another weekend without my car, and I was quite furious about that because I had paid. I argued the law actually allows my car back, as it is my property.

    However Monday came and I finally collected my car; I could see the place was well established and professional. I could see you could normally expect pretty good service from this place.....a hands on owner and all. They had been burnt before with non-payment and I heard all about that.....didn't help me though. The star ratings on this site allow either 'below average' or 'good'.....I would choose an 'OK' if I could because I can see this place could be great to deal with....it was just a bad experience for me.

      We have always found our work done very thoroughly also. I would also not expect to be able to collect our car untill it was paid for. On the one occasion the insurance comany was involved for us we too found a delay, in saying that the car came back driving very well.

    I drive an AU falcon ute as my daily and have had a few problems with it over the last couple of years and everytime I take it to Jase and the boys at Pearsons to get it fixed with no problems whatsoever, and the price is always so reasonable, I also take it there when it's due for a service which is convenient and the loan cars are well maintained and reliable which saves the hassle of one of us being without a car for the day.

    I worked in the industry many years ago, so it's always great when you find the rare workshop where you can make a connection with the boys and also when you find a place that can send your wife or kids to and know that they will be looked after and treated with respect. Thanks boys, keep up the good work.

    About a week and a half ago I was driving along the Centenary Highway when my innerguard off my wheel arch came away and got caught under my tyre. After sorting that out the guy from RACQ told me to get myself to a mechanic to get it fixed. I work in town so I often cut through Milton on the way in and I remembered driving past Pearson Automotive and thinking they looked like a reputable company. So without a booking I drove my car up the ramp and went into the office in a bit of a panic. Jason and he's mechanic's looked at my car straight away - they explained everything in a language that you don't have to be a mechanic to understand, (which is great for those of us who aren't mechanically minded) they even showed me what else was going on under the car - not trying to up sell, just making me aware what was going on with my car - which made me trust them. However, being a company car I had to run around and get three quotes, but the guys understood this and were very patient in hearing back from me. As it turned out, Pearson's was the most cost effective, and they gave me a loan car free of charge as I need a car and saved me the hassle of hiring one. They had my car back to me at 1.30pm on Friday , (I dropped it on on Wednesday and wasn't expecting it back until after the weekend!) I was so happy with the service that I received I am confident in recommending Pearon's to all my friends and family. I will go back for all my car needs - with my work and my own car and I'm sure my family will too! Thanks again guys, I really appreciate all you have done.

    After taking my WRX to the dealer for 3 years believing they would do the right thing by me and paying for this 'service'. I took my car to Pearsons where my 'newish' vehicle was treated to quality servicing and products and I was treated with respect and professionalism. The service was explained in language I understood, safety points to watch were identified, I was offered a loan vehicle, the cost was substantailly less than the dealer, the car ran smoother, I actually felt it had more power and ran freer than it had in years. I have since taken my HJ to Jase who has a very good understanding of how these Classic vehicles can be, she has never run smoother, felt better and been more efficient! Both my cars have been enjoying the Pearson Services for the past 3 years and we could not be happier!
    Jase and his team are a professional outfit who know there stuff and will discuss it with women without talking 'down' to us.
    Thank You to the Pearson Team! I'm a lifelong customer.

    I am not sure what these other negative reviews are on about......I have been going to Pearson Automotive for 8 years, and in that time, I have only know that the proprietor of this establishment has the highest integrity that I have come across in all facets of life and especially in the mechanical trade industry...as we all know some mechanics can be very "dodgy", in the years that I have used Pearson Automotive, I my wife and all my friends and family use this business because of the high level of service and great understanding of the needs of a customer always comes first.
    I have 4 vehicles and they are all serviced by Pearson's for the main reason.....GREAT VALUE....GREAT CARE.....GREAT SERVICE..... EXCEPTIONALLY HONEST!!!.
    Take your car here as you will not be disappointed.

    Where do I start?...I took my Commodore here for a service and got a bill for $1500...fair enough...a bit of work needed to be done and the power steering pump needed to be replaced (according to Pearsons) My car battery was playing up and sometimes the car would not start.... so I asked them to look at that. 3 months later the car was playing up so I took it back....they rang me and told me it would cost another $1500 to fix the problems...apparently the power steering pump was leaking !!!!...the one that was supposed to be new from the last service....of course they insisted this was unrelated to the first job and took my cash. I asked them again to check the battery which they did. The day after I got my car back it wouldn't start...when I looked under the bonnet the battery terminals were loose and the battery was filthy? ...over the next few weeks the car continued to run poorly....having COMPLETELY lost confidence in Pearsons I rang a mobile mechanic who check my battery and informed me it was the wrong voltage type for my car!....one new battery....30mins....and my car was purring like a kitten !!!! .....don't say you weren't warned....take your care somewhere else.

    Got my Toyota Hilux serviced & repaired at Pearson couple of times.
    First job was changing the shocks. After $1.6k bill I thought the cars handling wasnt any better. Absorbed the bumps ok but the fuel consumption deteriorated. Month later I discovered the tyres were running at 28psi, why? Rang and complaint, owner apologised.
    Secondly, I got them to replace the speedometer cable. My dashboard now has half an inch gap between the top and bottom half.
    Then, they replaced all hoses connecting the radiator. Luckily I checked the job, found one of the hose bent at 90 degrees. Any person can tell no coolant will flow through that so had to take the car back to garage before I blew up my diesel engine. Refixed but with an attitude.
    Lastly they fixed up the air-con with a $450 bill. I now have a water tap running from bottom of my dashboard when air-con is turned on. Well, looks like someone forgot to re-connect the condensation hose to outlet.
    I like giving people second chance but my experience was their workmanship was appalling, mistakes after mistakes. Quite unacceptable, dont go there!

      Great review.....these guys did the same with me....took a heap of money but provided VERY little service....I have written a review on these guys too....I hope they read it sometime.

    My partner and I take our vehicle to Pearson Automotive quite regularly. We've been happy with the service we've received but there has been one occasion where a bracket broke and they said welding it would be strong enough. It wasn't and they then had to source a bracket from a wrecker, esentially making up pay twice to fix an issue. Apart from this incident they have been good to deal with and will explain issues to you if you ask and don't have a great knowledge of vehicle mechanics and how things work.
