    Whether they are serving frozen imported fish and chips at Gambaro's prices in cheap McDonald's takeaway containers or whether you are querying yet another incorrect order only to be met with a rude attitude . The place has prime real-estate and every opportunity to do well. Unfortunately placement and renovation can never make up for sour service staff and poor product. Lesson learnt, we will not be back.

    Everything about this CAFE and it's location is ideal. All weather dining experience on the Esplanade across from the refurbished Waterfront & entry point to the fabulous Wynnum Jetty. You experience friendly capable staff serving the tastiest freshest assortment of food. From breakfast to dinner and everything in between, you wont be disappointed. My husband usually finds something to whinge about at every place we eat, he has never once at Pelican's Nest Cafe. I also like the free live entertainment supplied by owner/managers on most weekends, it just adds to the ambiance if you are enjoying a social outing with friends. We think it's easy to see how they have been awarded the only 5 Star rating for a cafe from Brisbane City Council.

    Fantastic Place to Eat. Has had a change of ownership and It is nice to sit out under the undercover area and have a meal. The renovations over on the Wynnum foreshore also add to this place being nice to dine at. Unfortunately the staff need to brush up on their coffee skills but otherwise it is a fantastic place to dine at.
