Hardly a function centre. Whilst my family would have lunch here a couple of times a week and return home with a full belly we won't be returning ever again. Taking months to get a lot of people from far and wide to attend a family reunion at Pelicans Restaurant Saturday (26th) just gone.., I am still flabbergasted. We paid $1247.50 for 66 adults to eat & be merry. Instead we were shoved in an awkward corner, treated like we were a bother & served no more then 3 small pieces of finger food each. Most people who had pre-paid $18.90 for their 'meal' had to purchase food because they were starving. I am still shocked & embarrassed in front of my family who had gotten together for the first time in 15 years.

Portion sizes are HUGE! A little too big in my opinion. Both times i've had the steak it's been completely average. The menu is very comprehensive. The function room is very family friendly (read that how you like) I would recommend eating in the beer garden for a better atmosphere. There are no eftpos facilities where you order food, there is an ATM close by but that's not helpful if you want to pay with credit.
