    NIGHTMARE PURCHASE, we failed to get an independant mechanic to check the car, purchased a car that ended being a nightmare, it slowly fell apart from 17days of ownership to 42days of ownership we had spent $1450 on top of the $6500 initial purchase price trying to get it to a state of roadworthy, all repairs were that of "wear and tear" therefore was outside of our Motor and parts warranty, and any kind of remorse from Pennywise Wholesale Cars in Brisbane with 2 locations has been anything short of acceptable. COMMENTS RECIEVED FROM SELLERS

    DIDNT EVEN WANT TO POST 1/2 A STAR, BUT STAR RULES PERMIT OTHERWISE.
    I purchased a vehicle from Pennywise Wholesale car on the 9/11/2010 and by the 26/11/2010 the vehicle broke down in a very busy area and was not able to be driven any further, upon contacting Pennywise Wholesalers he was gracious enough to forward us to the warranty company, I said "The car has had a Safety Certificate issued, therefore a mechanic must have warranted it worthy to drive. When I said that my husband was angry and would like our money back, he laughed and said, "He can get as angry as he likes, there is no way that is going to happen". I am grateful that we did have a 1 year warranty on the car, but recieved terrible service, there was no compassion what so ever for the incident or even any form of remorse. We had to pay for the cost of a tow truck to our mechanic, and have asked the mechanic to ensure that this car is roadworthy before we will use it again. At this stage we are still not sure of the outcome but I will definately post an update. Have a great day people, and I would advise getting an independant mechanic to view the vehicles from Pennywise before purchase!
