We just had our Archer gas heater serviced by technician from this business. He came only a few days after I rang to organise the service. He was thorough, clean, explained things well and was friendly and pleasant. Our heater now works even better than when installed (by someone else) and we paid what we were quoted. Very happy!
I had taken my Everdure Natural Gas heater to Penrtih Gas Shop for a service ($140) and possible repair (21.6.14). I was informed that it would take 7-10 working days and that I would be notified if any further costs or repairs were necessary.
I had waited 18 days (9.7.14) to which I was fed up and made a phone call, I was told that my heater had not even been started and that it was a busy time of year and if I wanted the process sped up it would cost a further $70, to which I replied I do not want to incur unnecessary costs and to please get the job done as soon as possible. Having to replace my gas heater with an electric heater for the interim and receiving no phone call, text message, e-mail etc. from Penrith Gas Shop I called 1 month later (22.07.14) to which they replied that the job was done and should come and pick it up and that the cost was now $290. I immediately went to the Gas Shop and discussed that I was not happy with the service and had I of been notified I might not of been happy with having to pay the extra costs at the time. I was passed on to another representative from the Gas Shop who informed me that if I am not happy and do not want to pay they will hold onto the heater until they have time to take the replaced parts out and I will have to come back to pick up the heater for the initial price of $140 with no option for a discount on the $290 repair.
Having not much of an option and further discussion going nowhere I decided to suck it up and pay the cost of repair with only a 3 month guarantee, 1 month out from warmer weather.
This business will take your money in return for poor service and lack of consideration for the consumer
bought item from their online shop, took 2 weeks to come and it wasnt even as described. Trying to get refund but they dont respond now. shonky business, stay away from them. I would give zero stars if i could

We had an appalling experience dealing with this company. We had a flued gas heater installed and paid $850 for labour. The finished result of the installation was horrible (to say the least). The very experience builder left large gaps of gyprock around the heater and vent so you can clearly see into the wall cavity. When we asked for someone to come and repair it, we were treated dreadfully and told it was not their problem. They hung up on us did not return our calls. Such an appalling way to run a business. I have never written a review about a company before but feel so disappointed about my experience I had to let people know to avoid this company!
Would not recommend, great products but terrible unprofessional service and don't know or understand finance terms being offered by them. If I knew this unfront when placing the order it would have made a difference to my purchase experience.
Very good service and help in purchasing my weber 320 bbq. Very informative in the shop.Helped me make the right decisions in retrospect as my results in cooking are excellent.(my wife thinks I am a genius chef now).Thanks all for help getting bbq into car as I had a bad back at time of purchase.
Found this place to have a rude & disrespectful shop keeper. We went in to purchase a BBQ and mentioned a slightly better price outside the area, thinking he might be able to do a deal as we are locals...NOT SO!
This would not normally be an issue, but the shop keeper started to rave on about how customers wanted to purchase online or in another suburb to save cash. We felt uncomfortable and almost criminal in asking.
Shoppers will find better service and prices elsewhere.
