    A very inviting place to enjoy a relaxed meal/drink with friends and it doesn't disappoint. I keep going back for the good food, reasonable prices, good service and trendy yet relaxed atmosphere. The Pier Lounge is great place to chill out in summer but also has that cosy, comforting feel in winter.

    If you're looking for a enjoyable summer bar that's next to the beach... this is the place.

    Pier Lounge is meters from the Altona Beach and even closer is one of Altona's beautiful parka, Logan Reserve.

    Typically attracting a younger crowd than families, Pier Lounge has a nice Modern feel with a large Plasma screen, small (but usable) bar space and a small, but cosy eating area. When the sun rays are out in force, the Bi fold doors (that span the entire shop front) open to extend the restaurant to at least 5 extra tables. The Meals are reasonably priced, and they do special days such as a Parma night and there specials tend to all satisfy your favorite urges.

    Most Pubs and bars tend to serve the normal beer variety out of the tap, which Pier lounge is no exception, but the beer of choice is Tiger. Different to most and a treat out of the tap. A beer that is rare out of the tap in Melbourne, not to mention Western Suburbs.

    I have visited this place more than once to just enjoy a icy beer with friends out the front and watch the sun go down over the water. It doesn't get much better.
