My girlfriend and I love going here for dinner before we see a movie. It's our thing. The Middlesborough 'parmo' schnitzel and sizzling satay chicken are sensational. Great pub food :)

I've been here a couple of times and I can't think of anything nice to say about it. The food is okay, but pricey. It's the kind of place you go to talk with your mates, but the horrible music is always to loud for you to have a decent conversation. I'm also getting quite sick of the bouncers checking my bags for smuggled booze. It's insulting.

Tried the 'High Tea'. At $28 each, quite expensive and while more than enough to eat in the way of sandwiches, cakes and scone, it was not quite up to the same standard you get from the speciality high tea stores.
Love the decor at this place though and will stick to traditional fare from there in future.

Quite a nice dining experience, ruined only by the company on my only visit. The food itself, however, was of a good portion size and very edible. The place is deliberately dark but feels right for the ambiance it is trying to create.

My wife and I like the food at the Pig N Whistle but find it a touch expensive in the restaurant section opposite the food court. very good range of beers especially if you like a Kilkenny on tap. Service is very good and close to the mall and movies if you want to make a day / night of it.

For a drink this place is great - sports bar, plenty of beers and Guiness on tap. Just don't visit the restaurant as I found the food to be overpriced. I ordered a steak for $30 medium rare and ir arrived well done. Definitely a no go in the future.

I went to the restaurant for a nice steak. The lady serving didn't seem to know what to do. She served our meals to the incorrect people and didn't bother to correct her error. The steak was well over-priced. It came over cooked and dry, definitely not medium rare. There was a distinct charcoal taste to it. Overall one of the worst steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. Was with two mates at the time and the both agreed that it was very sub par.

I'm a big pubber. The pig is one of my favs. The service is always friendly and speedy, the fish and chips are tops (although no salad with it which is a bummer)- My fav. is the lamb cutlets with roasted vegies, sweet potato chips and a mint sauce mmmmmmm. The chunky american pie is a must try for desert. Its fresh apple pie, with cream, ice-cream and home made custard...yummmmmmm.

Great trivia nights on tuesdays. Otherwise the entertainment doesn't do much for me, their isn't much talent in the live music on display. Although there is always some form of sports on the widescreens (I'm not that big a fan, but my boyfriend barely talked to me the last time we were there, he was content watching the cricket!).

Its definately worth a look...check out the lamb cutlets!.

Authentic English Pub it isn't, but had a good atmosphere, live music and a couple of nice beers.....served as PINTS!

Good to watch sport and the steak isn't bad.

If you want a pub with variety, you’ll find it at the Pig ’n’ Whistle, where you can drop in for hearty, carefully prepared pub grub, including steaks, Moreton Bay bugs, or cornish pasties, in keeping with the old English pub atmosphere. But drop into the quieter Fleet Street restaurant, and you can treat yourself to high tea in the afternoon, or some seriously delicious Chinese and Vietnamese fare, including duck pancakes. Dishes vary between branches, but the mix of Asian and British fare is common. Mains average: $24.
