Had a fantastic time at Pintxo's. Adam (restaurant manager) and his team were brilliant. We had a group of 28 people around the tapas train and they were very accommodating to the needs of a large group and ever-changing numbers. Food, drinks and service were great. I highly recommend it for a large group and I will definitely be going back to try the restaurant menu.

We tried this place for dinner sitting at tables, not the tapas train.....glad we got two for one.
I would not pay full price. We ordered the Seafood tapas platter.
They bought hard Sourdough bread and a bowl of oil......we guessed we were supposed to dip bread in the oil. They bought out the seafood platter and expected us to move away the plate we had starters on,then didn't take them away....

This not your usual seafood platter and noting Spanish about it,maybe the sauce on the side.The octopus was chewy and no taste, Croquetas were just like the frozen ones you get {nice}.
The Scallops en Cava w/ wine & cream was terrible week tasting sauce and was cold,this dish was not made with love. The Calamares Fritas were greasy and the only thing that was hot.
I got a free White Sangria which I didn't like,as it was wine based (i think) would have liked to know what was in it,but was told we got it free with the deal.
Would have been nice if they mentioned we could have had soft drink instead as my partner doesn't drink.But at the end of the night they didn't charge for the the soft drink. Nah we won't go back.

I've been to Pintxo twice now, and on both occaisions the food has been just great! Both times we opted for the $37 set menu, as we didn't really know much about Spanish food and thought it would be a great way to be introduced to the cuisine.. And it was..!! It was a great selection of dishes, spaced out over time, and you got to try all sorts of things.. I just loved their crumbed olives, the chorizo was so delicious, the garlic prawns were just fabulous, and we ended with the mini churos styled dessert with chocolate dipping sauce.. But the champion of the night is their white sangria!! I could drink it all night, and we did..!! Friendly service, great tasting food, and terrific sangria makes for a great dining experience.. Go try it.. :)

I had recently posted some complementary comments on their Facebook page, and to my surprise they gave me a $30 voucher for my next visit which I thought was such a nice thing for them to do.. So in return for the voucher, I wanted to pass on to more people through this site, this great local restaurant so even more people will go try it..!!
