We had Sunday lunch with a group of 8 friends. Everything was great, we had the banquet and everything on the banquet was delicious and there was plenty of it. Excellent service, very cosy with the open fire and Greek music. Staff very friendly and service timely. Big thumbs up would recommend visiting this restaurant.
First ate here about 10 years ago and was impressed then and returned just recently and was not disappointed. Had dinner with a group of 6 and selected the "Rembetiko Banquet". Entree consisted of pita bread (lovely but ever so slightly burnt) with dips, saganaki, pickled octopus, dolmades & a meatball type dish. The mains were Greek Salad and a large platter of fish, lamb chops, calamari, chicken souvlaki and the highlight - baked lemon lamb. I would have liked a lot more salad, but I can overlook that given how good that lamb is. Even if you don't pick the banquet here, make sure you order the baked lemon lamb - it is slow cooked and so tender. Dessert was loukoumades (Greek doughnut/dumpling with a honey syrup type sauce) with icecream - also very nice. Given that our group was 4 men and 2 women, there was plenty of food to go around and it was all good. It also came out nicely spaced apart so we were neither rushed nor waiting impatiently. The service was ok - our waiter was efficient although not particularly friendly, and without any humour. I'll definitely be going back for that baked lemon lamb!
