The brand new Pivot Point Academy Hairdressing Salon in Waterloo fits right in with its young professional neighbourhood. On a polished concrete floor, in a refurbished mechanic's garage, the salon houses a total of 25 chairs, 3 wash basins and is abuzz Monday through Friday with clientele. We stock only top shelf products and offer a full LA BIOSTHETIQUE retail range. 

Buoyed by the artistic atmosphere, students stylists put into practice their craft under close supervision of their mentors.

Our holistic approach to beauty and dedication to customer service means that our each of our guests recieves an exceptional salon exoperience at an affordable price.

    Great service and very friendly staff. Paid$95 for a cut and color which would have cost me at least $ 250 in any other place. My colour looked very professionally done! Will go back for sure.

    Excellent value, and very high end considering what you wuld expect for a school salon. Just allow a little longer thatn you normally would for an appointment.

    Not sure how the person below had such a bad experience - I come here every few weeks for a blowdry and don't have a bad thing to say. The blowdrys are only $15 and they come with a nice long shampoo and massage. It takes a little longer, as the hairdressers are students and are REALLY careful about getting everything just right. I think it's nice that they are so into it - and Pauline, the teacher who runs things in the salon is so sweet and makes sure you get exactly what you want.

    DO NOT waste your time on this business! they don't respond to emails, they don't answer the telephone, and they DONT reply to telephone messages. How do they expect to make money if they make it IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with them? VERY unprofessional.
