  • To Plan B
Plan B is right next door to Becasse, on Clarence St in the CBD. Even better is that it's actually the cafe offshoot of Becasse.
The result is high quality cafe food, minus the the price tag the restaurant carries.
Coffe is Single Origin and food is the usual cafe with a little class from wagyu beef burgers to sausage rolls and sandwiches.

Literally a hole in the wall cafe, actually a hole might be a little bigger. Anyway as the below reviewer said the hot food menu is limited but really you should only be going there for the wagyu beef burger.
It's delicious too, simple, compact and tasty. They made one too many on my visit so we got a free burger. Pretty hard to finish two though.

I've been meaning to go here for ages but never venture to that part of the city, however today i found an excuse and I'm glad I did.
The hot food options are limited: wagyu beef burger, wagyu steak sandwich, sausage roll, plus there are the usual cafe offerings such as a few different rolls/sandwiches and muffins etc.
As I intended, i had the burger. It was delicious.
The best thing about this place is that whilst its prices are standard inner city prices, the food is of a much higher quality so it's actually really good value.
