First time we went there we were so delighted with the service it was amazingly great and the food was Unbelieveable , i can not even begin how to describe the food except some of the best i have had in recents years ... So good in fact we make a effort to go there everytime we are down the coast , this time we even decided to drive from our home town rockhampton to provincial and took our friends and the whole table of 9 were breathless with the service& food& price .. Well done guys see you next time .

Love love love this place, what a refreshing change to Tedder Avenue. A little out of the main group of restaurants but that makes it pleasantly quieter. We had a table of six back in early September, as Main Beach locals we had been dying to go and check it out. The food was brilliant. As an ex hospitality industry professional and owner...I was sincerely impresssed with the quality of the food - entrees, mains and desserts. Even my 11 yr old and 16 yr old nieces were impressed...and they can be tough critics! We had a cross selection of the meals and everyone was singing praises throughout the meal. We then decided to try one of each of the four dessert specials...wow. Beautiful presentation, delicious taste and good size portions. Service was pleasant and friendly though obviously busy. The thing that won us was the value for money factor, here is high quality/high end food at a very good value price. We have sent friends there and they too loved it. We will be back soon, very soon.

Had the best veal I have ever eaten here. I was so rapped with the service and food that I brought my partner and two friends back a couple of nights later. The service was slightly slower, however, the real let down was the veal which was inconsistant to the one I had previosly. The veal was over-cooked to the point of not being able to eat it. The chef would have known the standard of the food being served, but still let it be taken out. To top it off, the meal only had a measly amount of sauce. Very dissapointed with the inconsistancies. A good trait of a top restaurant is consistancy. Very poor, and dissapointed.

  So disappointed to hear you had a bad experience at our restaurant. We do pride ourselves on addressing such issues and rectifying in a professional manner. I wish it had come to our attention on the night.
  In particular to see this review about our veal, which is a hit among the locals that reside in Main Beach, is even more disheartening.
  Let me re assure you that we will close the hole that contributed to the veal going out in such a state, (obviously over cooked).
  We believe that all restaurants should have the rite of reply if your experience wasn't up to scratch, so please don't let this be your yard stick of impression, particularly when you had such an awesome experience the first time you came here.

  We appreciate your reply. Just thought we would mention a couple things based on your reply. First of all we are locals as we currently live on the goldcoast have done so countless years now. And we shouldnt have too raise issues regarding the qualiiy of the food at the time as we really shouldnt have any issues regarding food at all full stop. We didnt want too watch our friends eat and finish there meals.. while we would have too wait for our overcooked meals too be rectified. We came as a group and we expect too eat as a group. Its just a real let down knowing the quality of food that has been experienced at your restaurant that those meals were allowed too be plated and then be allowed too be served. The feeling that we felt when ate our meal was that we wouldnt be able too differentiate between a perfectly cooked veal and an obviously overcooked one. Thats what upset us most of all. Yes we are a younger generation but we certainly know what quality food is. and yes we will be back

  We can understand that you might want perfection every time; we certainly try to achieve this. But when itâ??s all said and done, we are all humans, and we all make mistakes. A restaurant is full of sections that have to work together in order to achieve the final product. We often stumble as a section, only to be saved by the next section. Your experience was one of those times when as a unit we failed to deliver on that particular dish. From the cook, to the chef, to the pass, to the waiter, the quality check line had broken down. We canâ??t say it wonâ??t happen again, because it happens to the best from time to time.

  Once again i thank you for your reply.. its really appreciative.. but.. there is always a but.. when your paying for a meal, the whole dinning expierience we do expect perfection as we are paying money for not just the meal but for whole dynamics of enjoying a night out. We do expect perfection. We are paying for perfection. I understand we are human and we do make mistakes.. but you are in the industry where you really cant make mistakes as you are judged on the food that you provide. When you are paying 30 dollars for 1 main meal you have certain expectations and im sorry but it was well bellow our expectations. We have been too many restarunts over the years all over australia and have come across many that provide consistent quality of food that you can not fault. We will be back because we both believe in second chances and as i said i did get a perfect meal at your resturant once.. just hope it happens again.
