Disgusting customer service!
I can honestly say that I have never been more shocked at such a blatant lack of professionalism than I was by the waiting-room staff on level 1 at PRP in Dee Why.
When I was required to have an X-ray before getting an MRI done, due to a possible metal fragment, I was sent up to level 1 and told that I could have the X-ray done while awaiting my doctor referral to be faxed through. After waiting for almost an hour and missing my MRI appointment I politely asked a receptionist how much longer my wait would be when an employee came to the front of the desk, right in my face, and angrily told me that they couldn't do an X-ray without a referral. When I mentioned that I was told I could they actually raised their voice at me and was shockingly aggressive!

Not wanting a confrontation I decided to clear my head and go outside to call my doctor to see what the hold-up was with my referral, only to have this employee start yelling in my face when I told them that I was going to make a phone call.

I am still shocked that such as this was employed by PRP, there is no excuse for their inappropriate over-reaction it was absolutely outrageous, especially when I have nothing but good to say of the helpful staff that I have dealt with at PRP in Mona Vale. If you need to go to PRP then don't go to Dee Why! If you need an MRI then go somewhere else!

  I am so shocked to read this review of PRP in Dee Why, I have very recently been to PRP Dee Why to have a very sensitive examination performed, I was fitted in on the day I rang, the reception staff were outstanding in their manner, nothing but professional and discrete in every way, the lady that performed my ultrasound was sensitive, and gentle, explained everything she was doing, and I left the practice, and reflected on how 'professional' it was. No-one likes the anxiety of having examinations performed, but I can honestly say that I have nothing but praise for PRP Dee Why, and I tell my friends !
