    I have been going to Punch since they opened and prior to thatI was going to Grant's previous employer. In total approx 13 years now... Grant is a master in colouring. He is caring, talented and deserves nothing but positive comments and listens to what you really want. He is an amazingly talented man with know-how and experience to back it up. The entire team at Punch behind Grant is great.

    I visited Punch today after a long break from getting my hair cut. And I was beyond impressed with the service. The girl I saw, Martha, was very skilled, she listened to everything I asked for and took it on board, while offering suggestions as well. I ended up with a cut that I absolutely love. I will be recommending not only punch, but this particular hairdresser to everyone I can from now on :)

    I was really impressed with punch, really comfortable retro setting! In fact, I've walked past this place a 100 times, and never realised it was a hairdresser! I saw Grant, one of the co-owners - I gave him guidance as to what I wanted (as recommended in previous reviews), and he followed to the dot - asking for my input along the way! Totally recommend coming here - well priced, excellent service!

    I've been going to Punch every few months for a haircut for quite a while now. I have found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming, and I've come out happy with my hair every time, I've found the best way to make sure I get my desired result, is to be really clear and concise with my requests and to speak up when it's needed.

    I read vixenjain's review before I made an appointment. I thought that it may just be a one off so thought I would just go for it. I had strawberry blonde hair & wanted to go more natural golden blonde. I pointed to the colour on the card. It wasn't too different to what I had so thought it would be fine. I have ended up with a colour closer to BLACK with slightly ginger roots & white blond streaks which mixed in with the black give an overall appearance of grey. I am devastated. I am annoyed at having to pay for something that I did not ask for but am stuck with. My hair is in bad condition now & I am going to have to wait until it settles before I can fix it & it is so dark it will take ages to get back to blonde now. So devastated I could cry.

    From the outside the salon Punch appears fine. When you don't have a recommendation for a good hairdresser you usually tend to go by the look of a salon. Don't be fooled by Punch's appearance. I went for a long fringe trim. requested eyebrows length and was devastated when i walked out with a 2cm crooked fringe. Not only was it not what i asked for, and crooked, it was way too short, it looked ridiculous, and 1/2 my old fringe wasn't even cut so i had a lot of long pieces in my new fringe. My advice would be to avoid this salon. I walked out and purchased headbands as soon as i could.
