Our favourite restaurant - the punjabi naan, butter matar paneer and prawn malai are totally addictive. The floor manager is also outstanding.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Brisbane! The food is simply exquisite and the staff are patient and friendly. Parking can be a bit tedious, but it's definitely worth the quality and night out.

I went for a friend's birthday party last year and the experience left all of us stressed and annoyed. Despite stating my friend's full name thrice, they took me to the wrong table. They crammed the upstairs room (but downstairs room was very empty) and it was hot and loud (once seated you couldn't push your chair backwards without asking another guest to move). The waiters also looked hot and tired as there were more people than they could handle. On a very long table, everyone's naan's were placed into 2 baskets so people couldn't reach. However what was the worst of all was a guest who had ordered a vegetarian curry got a meat curry instead and her's went to someone who ordered meat. Luckily she wasn't a vegetarian because she only found out after a bite. We were all charged corkage as well despite 1/3 of us not drinking. Although staff were apologetic and made amends and the food was tasty, it was simply too stressful an experience to consider returning, especially in a group.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Brisbane and I've tried many. The thought of their Chicken Makhani brings me to a very very happy place (not all indian restos have this dish!). The place is cozy, service is friendly, and prices are affordable. Highly recommended.

I vote this place best Indian restuarant in Brisbane! The naans are the best naans I've ever had. The difference between Punjabi's and other restaurants' naans is that you can taste the flavour saturated throughout the bread, as opposed to tasting like the bread has been prepared separately with just the definining ingredient (eg garlic, mince, potato etc) thrown on top at the end! Curries are great also. This place gets very busy so definitely book if it's the weekend!

This palce is so good that on weekends they have tables spilling halfway up the street! The atmosphere is good and so is the service. Really good value for money qand some of the best curries I've ever tasted for sure

It's got the location, and the atmosphere, and when I worked in West End was the preferred takeaway Indian Restaurant when the staff felt like sharing some curries. It's good without quite making it the excellent category. It's not large so it's probably a good idea to make reservations. Parking can also be a bit of a problem at times.

The best indian restaurant in Brisbane! Consistently delicious, well presented meals, excellent service and courteous staff.
Their vegetarian options are just as scrumptious as their meat-based meals - the butter mater paneer is to die for.
I have eaten here quite a lot of times, often with large groups, and gotten 'takeaway' dozens, and I have never had a bad meal (neither has anyone I have eaten with). I'm amazed that they have kept prizes down.
    Double thumbs up!

Now in its seventh year, this is one of West End’s authentic ethnic restaurants, which is why it’s often bustling with diners. The interior is warm and elegant, and sticks to the Indian theme. It has a lively atmosphere, with indoor and footpath dining. Owner-chef Bajit Singh serves dishes from north and south India, and familiar curry dishes are made to a very high standard. If you’re into lassi (yoghurt drink), there are many versions including the fadoola, with its sweet rose flavour. Mains average: $16.
