We purchased a beautiful pup but buyers beware. The staff are pushy and do the hard sell on shop products. We were told that because we wouldn't purchase food from them (we had already done this ourselves) that we were not entitled to their 3 day medical cover. The management was rude and disrespectful. They stated that a toy I had purchase last week was old saying "oh that's an old second hand toy" and trying to sell me toys from the store. They would not listen to reason when I tried to tell them that I had been to my local vet for advice regarding puppy care and told me that the puppy pee toilet I had purchased was no good and that our puppy wouldn't use it (she used it her very first night and has continued to since. Once the staff realised that we were not going to purchase anything extra their attitude changed. I would recommend you go somewhere else for you new puppy.

We bought what was supposed to be a pure bred Pug. We we're also told that it was 8 weeks old. It wasn't till later as the dog grew older that we found out it was a cross and only 6 weeks old, far to young to be in a pet shop. We called Puppy Palace to discuss our complaint but all they said was "sorry there's nothing we can do about it".
I would strongly suggest not going here for anything!!!

We live in Sydney and I was hesitant to buy a puppy without meeting him at first but was very quickly impressed by this pet shop's professionalism.

We purchased our puppy through Puppy Palace last week, the team is so caring, attentive and professional - both before and after the sale!

    Would highly recommend.

My partner and I visited Puppy Palace last week, and received nothing but gold star service. The staff were friendly and after having a good cuddle with some very happy Pom x Shih Tzu pups, we picked out our beautiful boy, Murphy. We were then led to the shop floor and given plenty of information about what we would need for him, including play pens, bowls, toys and leashes, and then another staff member went through the information about our puppy's health - vaccinations, worming and flea protection, as well as feeding, insurance and exercise. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, and made the puppy-picking experience a very enjoyable one. I don't know where all of these negative reviews are coming from, but people rarely commend great service and only comment when they feel as though they haven't received what they think they're entitled to. Puppy Palace did a great job with us and we are very pleased to have welcomed Murphy into our home. 10/10.

I was looking for a Golden Retriever for a while, a couple of months ago on a Thursday me and my girlfriend when to Puppy Palace as their website said they had some arriving into store that day. They had about 4 staff on and even though everyone was busy they were just so helpful and went out of their way with advise for us, and spent about an hour with us. When I was there buying my pup one of my Broncos footy idols Jharal Yow Yeh was there buying his Golden Retriever too (his foot was broken). I only wrote this cos after we purchased our boy my girlfriend read these revrews and could not believe what people had said. She wanted me to share our experience with you. We could only praise the staff and the shop for hygene, helpfullness and experience. I dont know where these others were shopping when they wrote their reviews. Thankyou Puppy Palace. Great experience and if well known customers go there then and shop it aint bad at all. See you guys real soon. We loved your vet too. Awsome.

We bought a puppy here and were given papers that had been falsified. The dog had a major genetic defect and owners refuse to provide details of the breeder. Avoid this place at all costs.

Was there a few days ago to grab a couple of things for my dog but was totally ignored and when I asked for help I was treated very rudely so I left and went elsewhere. I have been there a few times now over the past year because it is close to me and have never received good or at least half descent service. I will not be returning.

I went to Puppy Palace last Wednesday and was greeted by a man, as soon as I walked into the store, I told him I was looking for a new puppy, he took me straight into the puppy room, washed my hands and let me hold a puppy I had been looking at on the website. I fell in love straight away, they spent lots of time going through everything I needed for my dog, they even gave me cheaper options for products so I could save money. I was recommended by a friend who had brought 2 dogs from them in the last 10 years, I will also reccomend them to my friends. They will also be grooming my dog in the future.
I had read the feedback on this site also, so was a bit hesitant, however, I did not find anything bad to say about their sales staff or service. 10 out of 10. Thankyou.

Very very very rude staff. I was never greeted or asked what I was looking for. Thank goodness I didn't buy a poor puppy from that store. I walked out and have told everyone of my friends and family who are dog lovers NOT to go here. Shame on you.

Puppy Palace now has new staff, the old RUDE staff have been removed. They went overboard when I purchased my Cavoodle and they spent over an hour with me.... they went through everything from toilet training, to feeding, worming and vaccinations. I had been looking for a few months and popped in from time to time to look. The new staff are awsome to deal with whether spending $5 of $1000 or even for just getting FREE advice. Will reccomend them to all my friends.

Those staff never left, I went there to buy a puppy and walked out because they didn't want to answer any of my questions and refused to tell me what type of place the little puppy came from!! I seriously wonder about this shop sometimes

Rude staff member and poor service, will never shop there again.

I had been previously warned off this store by a neighbour but I only wanted a car harness and also the location was near home, so I visited with my dog in the hope of fitting him with the right size.

I drove around the back and saw four parking spots marked with the store's name and promptly parked my car. I saw no signs that said "no dogs" but about 10 seconds after entering the store via the back door I was told by that no dogs are allowed in the back area because they have puppies for sale, risk of disease. etc. If any warning signs were around, I didn't spot them. He also said something about it being staff area.

So I walked around the front as they requested and this time entered the store via the front door. There was no one at the counter and no one else around except the same person chatting to two other people some distance away. So I headed for the leash and harness aisle and after about 30 seconds of browsing I was spoken to again in the same unfriendly tone: no dogs in this part of the store, please stay in the front, etc etc. How did they define what the "front" of the store was, I wondered?

I'd had enough by this point - I said I'd shop somewhere else and I started to leave quietly. They then said in an unnecessarily loud voice (I presume so the other two customers could hear) that they'd have to ask me to leave the store! I just continued walking out with my dog anyway.

I have never been to a pet shop where a leashed dog wasn't welcome. Maybe there were signs about staying away from certain areas but why did they put dog accessories in a place where visiting dogs aren't allowed? How am I supposed to fit a car harness to my dog? How about asking me to wait while they finished with the other customers? I've been shopping at pet stores in Brisbane for nearly 6 years now and I've never been treated so shabbily.

Yes we had been here a few times and experience poor customer service, upon entering the store on all occasions, we were never greeted, or even asked if we needed assistance. we were in the store for 20min one day and not one staff member approached us to see if we needed help or to even say hello, and they werent even busy, there was only us and one other person there. although staff could walk back and forward past us but not even greet us.
