Treat. Cure. Prevent.

Pure is a spacious physiotherapy clinic on Queen Street, in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Our staff are experienced and will do their utmost to ensure your visit to Pure is a positive one.

Our services include physiotherapy, massage, pilates and work station ergonomics, however the x-factor is how we do it.

We realise many of you have busy schedules, so we open early and close late.

At Pure our motto is pretty simple. We don't settle for symptom relief. We know that getting you better is great, but keeping you that way is Pure genius.

* We offer one-hour initial appointments to ascertain the true cause of your problem and 30-minute follow up appointments, all of which are one-on-one with your Physiotherapist.

* We only treat one client at a time.

* We carry out individual appointments for hands on physiotherapy and for rehabilitation to maximise your recovery and understanding of your injury, in the shortest possible time.

New for 2011 are our Clinical Pilates classes. Our maximum limit of three participants per class allows individual, tailored programs to be administered and for our physiotherapist to monitor your body position and educate you along the way.

Pilates is a great adjunct to your treatment, a means of self maintenance and a great work out! Either way, feel free to enquire for further details.

The Pure Phsyio team is amazing- they are wonderful through the process of diagnosing, designing effective treatments, being supportive during the setbacks and just being all around wonderful people and practitioners. They are so skilled at what they do and they helped give me back my ability to run. Highly, highly recommend Pure Physio!

I spent a couple of years not exercising because of an undiagnosed knee problem, visiting multiple specialists, none of whom could give me any answers to my injury. I went to see Kate just over 6months ago, when experiencing quite intense pain in my right hip and knee when I tried to get back in to running.

Kate was not only able to diagnose the problem, but explain the cause to me in plain English! I've had many laughs telling people that my physio diagnosed me with "lazy bum syndrome". Kate's ability to relate to people and build excellent rapport is one of the many reasons that makes Pure Physio a fantastic practice.

I can't thank Kate, Jac and the rest of the Pure Physio team enough for their help over the last 6months- they got me from not being able to run 10km without pain, to running pain free in the New York marathon!! Their support went above and beyond and I always felt I could contact them any time if i had any worries of concerns. By the end of my 6months seeing Kate, I was sad to leave as I felt like I was leaving my family!!

If you want a physio who genuinely cares about your recovery and goals, you can't go past Pure Physio. I can't speak highly enough of Kate and the Pure Physio team!

I am from Ireland on a working holiday visa in Australia for one year. I went to see Kate in January as I was suffering back pain. This had been a recurring problem for the last two years. For the first time, Kate was able to tell me exactly what my injury was. She went out of her way, booking me in for an MRI and getting a consultant to see me at short notice. This was invaluable to me, especially as I was away from home. She really went above and beyond to speed up my recovery.

Once the injury was diagnosed, she gave me exercises to treat the injury at the time and then most importantly put together a programme for me to help prevent the injury recurring again. It was great to finally be able to understand my injury (in normal non medical terms!) and she was always available to answer any questions I had, by phone or email if necessary.

I found Pure Physio excellent and provided a really personal service. All of the staff were really helpfull and I would 100% recommend them.

I tore my ACL a few years ago and never did the rehab properly. Ever since then I've been getting frequent recurring injuries every time I'd attempt to get back into football (soccer).

I'd been to a few physios as you can imagine but all of them just treated the injury and nothing more. Kate on the other hand identified what was causing the recurring injuries and not only treated it but worked on prevention as well. It's literally been about 7 on going years with constant muscle pulls but this year after seeing Kate I've finally been able to play football injury and worry free.

I definitely recommend Kate. She loves what she does and it shows in my result. Also if you make an appointment on Friday there'll most likely be Cake at there :)

I went to see Kate in London just over two years ago. Despite having previously seen two physiotherapists, osteopaths, also trying Alexander technique and seeing various specialists, the underlying causes of my upper back/shoulder had not been dealt with. At the time I was in my final year of studies at music college and the pain was interfering with my playing, it became such a problem that by this stage I was having to reassess my aspirations of becoming a performing musician. Having given up on the worth of physios (!) Kate was my last lifeline.

In my first appointment she spotted instantly what the problem was and exactly how we were going to fix it. She was the first person to actually realise the problem and also give me confidence that it would not be something I had to live with! Kate was always supportive and my progress in a very short space of time was phenomenal. This changed everything for me and thankfully this meant I could persevere with my goals to be a musician.

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Kate, she is a fantastic physio and I was very sad to hear she had left London . However, I know Pure Physio will be a great success!

Kate is a fantastic physiotherapist. I saw her in London for many months after breaking my knee. Without her help and dedication I will not be running again. I wish her the best of luck with the Pure Physio practice and I have no doubt she'll bring her physiotherapist successes from London to Melbourne.

I saw Kate in the UK after tearing my Achilles playing football. As an active person I was eager to recover in the shortest time possible; post op.

Kate was excellent in managing my expectations and coaxing me through various exercises to achieve the various goals she set on my road to recovery. I credit her for commencing with various core exercises whilst still in the dreaded "boot" for my relatively quick recovery from such an injury.

Being incapacitated proved quite frustrating at times but thanks to Kates disposition I always felt I was in the right hands due to her endless enthusiasm and knowledge.

I tore my ACL in a skiing accident and had an operation to put in a new one at the end of April 2010.

The typical recovery time for this type of knee injury is 8-9 months, but as I write this 7 months post-op I am ready to hit the slopes again, in large part thanks to the fantastic physio regime I had with Kate Senini in London, UK before she went home to Melbourne to work at Pure.

Knowing I wanted to get back to serious skiing activity, she really put me through my paces and pushed me to just the right degree to keep progressing at a good rate. The sessions have since gone beyond recovery and on to skiing-specific strengthening work ensuring i am in better condition than before my injury.

Further, when i developed a problem with pain in my shin whilst running (in my supposed good leg, not the injured one!) she was able to diagnose this very quickly as being a problem with the muscles in my calf. Within one or two sessions of treatment and a couple of stretches prescribed it was gone and has not come back.

As well as being a great physio, she is also good fun to be around - when you are going a couple of times a week for several months this makes a huge difference.

    Highly recommended.

I have been lucky enough to have been treated by Kate whilst in London and can highly recommend her as a physio. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable but is also great at listening to feeback and acting accordingly. London's loss is Melbourne's gain!!

Pure Physio and Andrew have been fantastic in treating my neck and back stiffness.
Instead of just a painful massage, Pure physio worked with me on how to fix the issue and manage my work posture and exercise. Working in the city, Pure physios convenient Queen St location will definitely have me coming back if I need any physio in the future. Highly recommended!
