    My fianc and I stayed in a 1 bedroom unit over the weekend. We did pay a lot for the room however we were met with reasonably good service from the STAFF. Our room key didn't work twice though.... Getting passed that, the room was very nice and our visitors were offered parking up until 10pm. The Televisions were pretty small and the radio didn't have and iPod connection. But for what we wanted it was good.
    3.5 stars is based on the price, customer service and the presentation of the room. I also like the systems in place for the option of room service. There is a wide variety of food available. There was no "MINI BAR" in our room, only complimentary milk sugar coffee and tea.

    I booked a private 4 bedroom sub penthouse at the Q1 for my sisters hens night. I thought I was very lucky to get such a great place in the heart of surfers. I was wrong.

    We get at the accommodation to find that we have only 2 car parks for 12 people and no help offered to find suitable parking surrounding the building for the other 3 cars - that weren't 2 hour parking.
    We then went to park our car in two parks beside each other only to find a truck parked in both parks. After an hour and a half and back breaking situations waiting 15 minutes + to get a life to our floor - being refused a trolley for all of our belongings - we had had enough. The staff where unfriendly and unhelpful. I was very unimpressed with our sub penthouse and its poor furnishings. For the money we spent - we could have got a lot more somewhere much nicer.
    It was a lot of hassle and I do not recommend this accommodation for anyone who actually wants to have a good time.
