The Queen Victoria Building is worth a visit just to look at the beautiful architecture. QVB also has a great range of wonderful shops and cafes.

The QVB is an elegant reminder of the charm of yesteryear.

From its basement level which is a thoroughfare from Pitt St mall to Town Hall station, up to its highest floor with its beautiful stained glass windows and distinctive clock, the QVB has a wide range of specialty shops and has something for everyone.

If you visit in December, you will be treated to one of the biggest Christmas trees in Sydney, spanning three floors, and usually decorated with Swarovski crystals.

The QVB is a must-see destination for any visitor to Sydney.

The stately lady of shopping centres has had a refreshing facelift – peacock colours of red and royal blue amid the white arches and lots of glass for the new look in the 19th- century heritage building. And, as regally stylish as ever, the QVB has some chic new boutiques too: Molton Brown, Coach and D&G to name a few. Our spies recently spotted PM Kevin Rudd taking tea on the top floor! Be warned – a quick lunchtime squiz could turn into an afternoon of exploration.
