Ralph's is a Balmain institution and is a true family business with a couple of generations on hand most of the time. I like shopping there because of the atmosphere more than anything - lots of homemade stuff and its got a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. In our house Ralphs is particularly known for their soups - frozen and homemade and highly original (chorizo, cabbage and capsicum - truly its good!)... and a range of exotic biscuits and coffees i haven't seen anywhere else.
