Nice meal on the balcony looking out to sea. What a view
Could've done with more veggies for my meat but otherwise a very pleasing meal

I've eaten lunch here a few times in the last year or so and each time the food has been excellent. The balcony upstairs is a great spot on a nice day, and it's even lovely if the weather isn't perfect as they have clear plastic blinds to keep the elements out and you can still enjoy the view. They currently have a great 2 course lunch special, and I get the feeling not too many people know about it as it's rarely busy. A really nice spot with good food and good wine. The service wasn't bad either. The only negative would have to be the parking, but that's what you get for being at Bondi Beach!

What an interesting venue I found this - large open downstairs bars for the casual beer swillers, then upstairs an upmarket restaurant, classy bar and big old time balconies to take in take in the gorgeous ocean. Enjoying a Saturday lunch with a large group of girls we did find the initial service to be very lacking. It was a good 45 minutes before wine lists were brought to the table and then a number of us had to go to the cash counters to request menus and order wine only to be told to move out of the way. The menu for the group was also incorrectly placed however they were kind enough not to change it after the near 1.3 hours it had been in front of us. And the food was FABULOUS - so it definitely made up for the initial concerns. Excellent scallops, lamb and desserts. I tried both the creme brulee and the pudding and they were complete heaven!!!!!!!!

great service , great food . amazing views
The service here was one of the best Ive had in a long time. Anything we asked for they made it happen. This was the top level in the restaurant area .
    Oysters were amazing !!
definitely one to go back to

This iconic beach-side bar is a well-known to locals and out-of-towners. I know why. It is located across the road from the very beautiful bondi beach right in the centre of crazy Campbell parade. What a location! It also boasts an upstairs area with great views on famous sea and sand. Upstairs the layout and decor is quite cool and spacious near the bar area. However, I feel that Ravesi's lacks ambiance, downstairs especially. The service could also improve. It is slow and impersonal. It is disappointing that Ravesi's is not what it could be. Apart from attracting many tourists passing by, it does not appeal to most Sydney-siders. By improving the layout, and the service this bar could really be something special.

I had one of the best days here , great for a quick bite , not too expensive which we always like . I ordered Champagne which came in a beautiful glass , to me that makes a massive difference . I'm not one to like drinking out of plastic .
Great food but the vibe here was sweet !
I don't know if it was just that day but the crowd was so happy and having a fab time .
Its nice to be able to go somewhere relaxed and have a dance aswell . But also to be able to order fab food aswell
This spot ticks all my boxes , beautiful food , great atmosphere , a great dance floor and of course a beautiful sea breeze and view to match !
    Top spot

Good spot to people watch. The seats at the front (overlooking campbell parade) are prime real estate to watch the world world go by... in board shorts.
The security can be a bit over the top on restricting the dress-code but most of the time they do manage to keep the 'undesirables' out. However, always a smart move to avoid Ravesi's late at night when people tend to get overly excited and fights have been known to break out.

Stick to Beer, Wine and Cider to avoid spending too much.
A really great place and it's always busy so you know they're doing something right!

The bar staff are polite and the place is generally kept pretty clean.

Get in early on a friday afternoon and watch as it gets busy...just get out before it gets too crazy.

The 3 dollar beers and 10 dollar meals mid week can't get much better in Bondi.

Drift Lounge at Ravesi’s has cocktails in this cool beach corner of the world nailed. Zesty combos like the Lychee Love are short and sexy, blending lychee liquor, passionfruit, vodka and lime presse. A perfect aperitif with the stylish beachscape backdrop. Enjoy gentle breezes from the Pacific through the arches on the balcony or in winter curl up on a large cream-coloured couch next to the roaring fire. Top of the pops on the menu is the Hirimasi kingfish sashimi, lightly drizzled with olive oil and served with pickled ginger. Melt in the mouth, served with lime – simple yet sublime. Small-plate lovers will have their dinner dreams come true here. Think sizzling prawns, oysters five ways and plump trout and ginger dumplings with a tamarind dressing. Desserts don’t let the side down with the self-saucing chocolate and chestnut pudding a sweet treat.

This might be one of those bars that tempts city folk to jump on a bus to the beach. It has the chi chi sophistication that city slickers crave – with just enough sea glimpses for them from safe inside the cool lounge with dark carpet and mirrored walls. Or head for the wraparound balcony bar under the arches of the period edifice and enjoy the salty Pacific breeze on your face while watching the waves lap on the sand. Dress up in that confusing dressed-up-but-down way to get past the door bitch. (G-Star jeans only.)
