    Positives; The seafood was nice.
    Negatives; Ordered at 12:15, received at 1:00 - it took 45 minutes for 1 fisherman's basket = a serve of chips & there were only three customers in the shop before me at this stage.
    Instead of cooking each order as it comes they seem to do them in batches...as when the first lot went out at 12:20 three numbers were called up, then 40mins later another 3 at once... no other orders went out in between the two lots.
    Also a minor thing is the calamari was still joined to the body if the squid so it had three legs meaning it was hard to eat in front of other people but still tasted good.
    Paid $18.00 for a single fisherman's basket, to me a bit dear as I pay this at restaurants & this is just a take away shop.

    Would I purchase again? maybe phone ahead but would not dare order in store again.

    I visited the takeaway on the 26th of January 2011 and the service was very disgusting. Ordered $3.50 worth of chips (which in takeaways I have worked at take 5 minutes MAX) and a hamburger. I placed my order and sat patiently waiting for my food. I noticed that they didn't even pull out the ingredients until after 30 minutes I went to the counter to ask how long it was going to be. The kid behind the counter said "not to long". I sat there for a further 20 minuets and no one had started cooking the meat. It sat there for 20 minutes unprotected (major health issue). Then I went up to the counter to ask how long, received a "not long" again. Another guy came in who had been waiting for 70 minutes for $5.00 worth of chips and got fairly abusive which is highly understandable. At the 70 minute mark I received my food which was crap. Chips were cold because they were cooked 40 minutes before receiving my burger and the burger due to the waiting of the meat I threw away because no one in there right mind would east meat that had been sitting on a bench unprotected. If the owner of this take away reads this, fire all your young employees and higher more capable employees who can coordinate orders and communicate so customers don't have to wait.

    Oh I agree with the other reviews ... this is a great place. And I love that you can choose either thin or thick chippies! It's a really clean shop and well organised. The park at the beach across the road is your best option for dining, although it gets quite windy so make sure you take a jumper.

    Good fish & chips on the beach. Value for money, tasty and fresh. Lots of seating across the road so you can enjoy your meal looking over Moreton Bay. A nice location for a family meal.
