Very good taste of Indian dishes.served hit on time. This place us usually busy and is hard to get a table to sitdown. Lassi is served in jug and very nice a must have for everyone.
Only bad is we have to pay upfront so gard to extend the order.

I like going to this place late at night - for this time at night 11pm, it's nice to get freshly cooked food for under $10 - a curry and 2 naans, or 1 naan and 1 rice. (During the day, there are other places open that are probably better). Will always be back. Oh and cheap mango lassis!

i went for dinner and they inspired me to take a thali, which was disgusting! the mutton dish was just horrible, loaded with oil and very spicy. service was very poor, u have to wait ages to be served.. people are very rude..regarding the interor, I could not had imagined anything bad than this! specially people who carrying prams, this one would be a pain !I will never advice anyone of my friends to visit this....

Red Pepper is an excellent Indian Restaurant. It made my anniversary a night to remember! With traditional Indian food at its best, with the best range of mouth watering naan's and the ultimate butter chicken and various other dishes! The prices are excellent value for money. Have been there many times and will continue doing so! A definite must go!!

Red Pepper is one of the most famous restaurants amongst indian students. could be mainly because of its relatively value for money meal options.
The Butter Chicken dish and lassi milk drink is highly recommended.
Very limited menu, guess they kept it this way to keep cost down and maintain their quality.
Usually very crowded during lunch time during the week due to nearby Universities and businesses.
one of the best places for Indian food if you are on a budget. Average cost per dish is $8 .50

They make very authentic indian dishes and they're not overpriced, reasonable. Naan's are really good and the atmosphere is good to sit down and eat in. I have heard that its specialty is spinach saag and having tried it many times I tend to agree. One of the better indian restaurants I believe in Melbourne. Have visited time and time again.
