    I purchased a Spreets deal for $49 to receive a style cut, Moroccan oil treatment, a half-head of scattered foils and also $100 in vouchers for future services at Refrescat. To get to the point, I was very impressed with not only the service, but also the result of my stylists hard work.

    I arrived to the salon early, and was almost immediately offered a beverage for while I was waiting. My stylist then sat down with me and had a proper examination of my hair (which is quite fine and very thin), and she respectfully offered me her suggestions for making the most of my hair, i.e., how to shape it, general maintenance, etc. Amongst her recommendations was that instead of using bleach/peroxide for my foils, that I give blonde-tint foils a try. This is a technique Id never heard of, but Im glad I gave it a go because the foils turned out just as blonde as I would have hoped using any product, and not using bleach was definitely a plus for me because Im always worried my fine hair will dry out too much and look terrible. No such issues with the tinted foils though, my hair feels absolutely amazing! Howwever, that may also be partly to do with the Moroccan oil, but still, I think the tint foils are a great idea.

    The other major highlight of the service I received at the salon was the quality of the style cut I received. My stylist really took into account what I wanted for my hair, and gave me perhaps the most flattering cut I have ever received. She really personalised her technique to suit my hair, and not the other way around; probably the reason Im so happy with the result!

    So all in all, I was very satisfied with my experience at Refrescat Toowong; my hair feels light, beautiful, and bouncy. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, the service was wonderful, and quality of work was evident, so I now feel I can put a lot of trust in the expertise of the staff at Refrescat.

    Despite the extra costs I would have to pay in future, I think I have been convinced that even without a voucher, the quality of the service, which I was provided, would still great value for money, and everyone needs a little indulgence anyways.

    Every time I touch my hair I cant help but smile! I definitely will be making another appointment in the future, and I would certainly recommend Refrescat :)

    I LOVE going to Refrescate! I live 45 minutes from the salon but I wouldn't go anywhere else! Ani has been giving me the perfect cut in every way, for a few years now, and at 47 years old, I have just had my first colour and I couldn't be happier! And the amount of compliments I get from friends, family AND strangers after Ani has done my hair, truly makes my day! But I also must add Ani cuts my hair in a way that is so easy for me to maintain myself! 10/10 for service, quality and experience! :)

    I have been getting my hair cut at Refrescate for years, wouldn't go anywhere else! I have really fine hair that's difficult to cut and it took me a long time to find a place that could do a great job! I would go there everyday for a wash and head massage if I could! The staff are always friendly and remember my name, they are really fast and I love that I can duck in for a nice coffee and chat, get a wash and a trim all in my smoko or lunch break. Apart from barbers I can't find a cheaper mens cut in Toowong at $25!
