A great classic, relaxed venue Regatta Boatshed Restaurant at the Regatta hotel has been a local favourite for years. Offering the best in Australian pub cuisine, the meals are large and delicious and the kitchen utilises only the best and freshest produce for their dishes. Not a place for an intimate dining experience, Regatta boatshed boisterous atmosphere is hard not to get caught up in. The staff is fun and friendly and this restaurant is available for functions and large groups.

Meals range from snacks through to large meals. I've always opted for smaller meals at the Boatshed but there are still reasonable portions. The cocktails are very nicely made and there is a nice selection.

This restaurant is consistent. The steaks are good but the beers are overpriced. The service is great, if a bit over the top occasionally. Overall it is a good restaurant to visit for a lunch.

This is a shining example of how far Brisbane’s pub dining has come. Next to the iconic pub that has seen everyone from suffragettes to thirsty rowers, the restaurant has a covered deck which looks to the river. Chef Brendon Hull, recently back from cooking Italian in Scotland, has put together a hearty and tempting menu. Start with the seafood sampler, and chow down on award-winning steaks afterwards. The pub next door means there’s plenty of wine and beer options. Mains average: $27.
