    I went to Rice Pot with friends one night and really enjoyed the food. It was a hot summers night in Bondi and the the Rice Pot was packed. We were sat at a table near the door and ordered a bottle of wine. The food that was being consumed by the people surrounding me looked oh so fresh and smelt absolutely divine. Needless to say, I was pretty hungry!!

    We ordered a few different dishes and decided to share. This was a great idea as it meant we could all try everything. Each of the three dishes were simply superb. I enjoyed each of the equally.

    My only complaint about Rice Pot would be regarding the actual dining area. It is fairly cramped as they try and fit too many people in. It made the dining experience slightly uncomfortable. However I would still go back. The food was scrumptious!

    I first started going to Ricepot years ago when it was decked out like your Nana's front room. curtains and old carpet and fake flowers in little pots. Fantastic! It's had a makeover now and remains a firm favourite in local eating joints in Bondi. It aint what it used to be though. It's not as familiar, not as local. The food is still good quality but it's lost some if it's gravitas, some of its soul. If you are looking for an easy meal with better than average Taji food right in the heart of Bondi, then give Ricepot a go.
