    Amazing food! Great service with a beautiful view. The only small complaint is that you cant help but feel squashed into the restaurant. Our chairs were touching the chairs of the tables next to us. I felt like we were squashed in like sardines. However the food is presented so well and is beautiful - try their duck as a main.

    We arrived at Ricky's by ferry which was great and being early we had time for cocktails at the bar (also good). After that things went downhill a little. It's not that there was anything wrong with the food as such. It's just that when I'm paying $30 for a main course I expect more in terms of creativity in the kitchen and ambiance in the dining room. The wine list was also highly marked up considering the type of establishment. This is casual dining with fine dining prices. Location is good on the river but didn't count for much as it was dark outside.

    You can take a gondola or ferry to Rickys, which is set on Noosa's riverbank. High ceilings and open fluid spaces maximise the river view and the venue provides a range of tasteful experiences: cocktails at the stylish bar, elegant dining and long lunches on the deck, or casual tapas-tasting with friends. German-born chef Marc Wohner leads a dynamic kitchen team that has a strong focus on local produce and a great program of daily specials. A superb wine list includes drops from Burgundy.
