Bayside Restaurant and Bar

The bayside Riva St Kilda offers panoramic views of around the bay through Williamstown and right down to the Bellarine Peninsula. Dinning on the decks is a perfect place to meet up with friends for drinks and/or dinner and soak up the view. If it is a faster pace you want then the lounge bar will suit. It is open to 3am and is host to live music. The spacious and al a carte dinning room can cater for the intimate dinner for two or a long leisurely dinner. Considering where it is situated the cuisine is heavily influenced by seafood. It is modern and tempting!

Gorgeous location, would like to go back for a sunday arvo so I can experience the outside deck. Met a few girls here for drinks on friday night, heaps of parking, make sure you have coinage for it though. Apprarently sat night and sunday arvo are much more popular - all the same enjoyed the experience. Shared a antipasto platter with my girlfriend which was plenty. Staff were friendly and nice comfy lounges. Not overly priced either considering the location so that was a nice suprise.

Great place to eat on a nice day. Windows open, sea breeze, and great views. Not good on a day which is over 30 degrees as it has NO airconditioning. Ate there on a 42 degree day and although the food was nice and the service was good, you got to ask yourself how can you enjoy the food and wine in a place with no airconditioning? - The wine got hot quickly. We were offered ice for our wine, but why would you want to water down an expensive wine? - It's only down fall. I wouldnt eat there again on a hot day

Recently ate here for a staff xmas function, its got a great vibe about it and the deck is a nice place to hang with a drink in hand. The food was pretty good, but the calimari was the processed type, where all the pieces were exactly the same size and shape as each other (a bit like you get at the cheap fish and chip shop down the road...). The gnocci was a much better choice and home made. The service was good. If you dont want to go to the expense of the Stokehouse upstairs or the formality of Donovans down the road then Riva is a great alternative where you can take in the bay view and sea air.

Riva is a great venue in a wonderful location with views of Port Phillip Bay and the city. Very popular venue with celebrities so you never know who you will see here.

Fantastic view at this place. it's almost worth it for the atmosphere alone. can get packed on a saturday night and during winter when the open fire is on it tends to get kinda smokey.

beware the collars up footy player brigade but apart from that you'll be sweet here

One of my favourite spots in St Kilda overlooking the bay. Wonderful in Summer out on the deck and wonderful in Winter with open fires everywhere (some built into the wall) great wine list, excellent food and service.

Great views overlooking the Bay. Very very tasteful atmosphere and prices were reasonable. Great for a private dinner for two. Very romantic.

Location, location, location! With elevated, sweeping views of Port Phillip Bay, Ríva is the ultimate hang-out for the glam set and a top spot for functions with flair. Cosy up in winter by the open fire. In summer it’s more about leisurely strolls on the deck, glass in hand. Try scallops with horseradish.
