    I have been having big problems with eczema on my scalp and lots of hair loss. Most hairdressers just want to sell you their products to fix it, but I walked in to talk to Rita's salon one day as I thought a haircut might make my poor head look a bit better. She was so honest and sent me away until my scalp cleared up a bit, then when I came back 2 weeks later she gave me the best hair cut and colour I have ever had in my life! Even though I am still suffering from lost hair and my hair is not it's usual self, Rita cut and coloured it so it looks really presentable despite my problems, and a couple of weeks after the cut, I can blow dry it quickly and simply at home and it looks really great. It's obviously just a really great cut. I can't say enough good things about Rita, her talent and experience, and customer skills. Thanks a million Rita, I will be coming back for years!

    Wonderful experience at this salon, there is off street parking and it is easy to find, will definitely visit again, had a lovely experience and a beautiful style aswell as a nice head massage :) 5 stars from me

    Unfortunately my experience didn't reflect the reviews I read here. I went early on a Saturday morning after pre-booking a shampoo, cut, and blow dry.

    The staff was very nice, and I didn't wait long, but in terms of my hair, the staff didn't really listen to me and what I wanted. In the end all the staff did was take length off, when I really wanted it cut into a style.

    After the blow dry my hair was still damp, so the curls the staff did with the GHD dropped within half an hour of leaving the salon. When I examined the cut at home, I even found long hairs missed, and had to pull them out.

    $68 later and whilst that's very reasonable for a haircut, I already need another one to make up for having had no style cut into it. Nice people, but I won't be going back.

Taking into consideration of your comments about our approachable and friendly staff, we would of liked you to let the staff member know at the time of the cut that you were unhappy with the style and your hair could of been easily fixed â?? with no hesitation by our staff member.
      In regards to your finished style, we are unable to guarantee the lasting time of the curls done in your hair as the curling iron procedure is not permanent and lasts differently in one's hair.
      We would also be upset if leaving a salon with damp hair â?? though technically your hair would of had to be completely dried before putting the curling wand through your hair, or else you would of evidently seen the hazard of using a curling iron on wet hair.
      We do however remember that you left pleased and even taking a photo with your new cut for our photoboard. None the less, we hope your next salon experience meets to your expectations.

    I have been going to Rita to get my hair cut, coloured and styled since her first salon in Waverley. Now she is in Randwick and the salon is more spectacular than before, it's a relaxed atmosphere, the girls are very friendly and there is a beauty therapist so I can get all my 'beauty stuff' done in the one day. They know what i want and like to keep me looking fresh and fantastic with a weekly blow dry that lasts me for a week!

    I am not from around the eastern suburbs, but had to regularly visit my mother in hospital at Randwick, having no time to even get a haircut i searched up a salon within the area close to the hospital that i could visit and came across RnR's salon. I had a wonderful experience and the reviews are all correct in that the staff are very friendly, down to earth and accomodating. I guess they deal with all types of people, i had a beautiful blow dry and a refreshingly stylish haircut by Rita herself. Although the salon is far from my home, and only found her from reviews and the experience i was in to travel to randwick, i will definitely be back to fix my colour for the new year.

    Rita has been my hairdresser for over 10 years, since her first salon in Waverley. I have followed her to Randwick, which of course isn't far but i could not compare her to any other hairdresser, she does what i want and is straight forward with what would look great on me and what doesn't, there is also an Ipad in the salon to play around with while you're in there chatting away. My now toddler son also has his hair cut my Rita

    Thankyou for all your help getting myself, my mum, and my bridesmaids ready for my big day. You ensured that we all had a relaxing morning getting treated like stars having our hair and makeup done.

    Despite the fact that I was 20 minutes late arriving, and that half my bridesmaids changed their mind about how they wanted their hair done, you managed to get us out of the salon on time.

    We were all very happy and impressed with the results, and the photos look absolutely stunning!

    Thankyou for your help in making my wedding the most special and fantastic day of my life, and ensuring all of us were looking gorgeous for the photos!!!!
