Queensland's largest and oldest independent record store, Rocking Horse can be found on Albert Street in the Brisbane City Centre. We stock a massive range of rare and second hand records, not to mention a full range of new release LP's, EP's and CD's. We cover most genres including, blues, metal, rock, indie, dance, rock and roll and hip hop and r and b to name a few. Come in for all your music and associated paraphernalia, like T-Shirts, movie soundtracks, magazines, books and everything in between.

All reviews and comments are screened by our team of moderators who work around the clock. We publish, reject, edit and remove reviews and comments at our discretion.

We accept reviews and comments which appear to be legitimate, honest and based on first-hand experiences with businesses.

    Excellent for a great range of 2nd hand CD's. I Love vinyl and you have a great collection. I think the range of imported music has to be the best in Brisbane.

    Very cheerful and laid back - They sell 2nd hand DVD's as well for a bargain and the movie I bought was as good as new. Their prices are very reasonable and staff are very relaxed and friendly.

    These guys have been in Brisbane since I was in high school (30 years ago!) If you are after something really obscure they are likely to have it. Lot's of imported CDs and vinyl for the DJ types. Check out the $9.99 racks for bargains across all genres. The staff all seem to be musos or very knowledgeable. Also you can buy tickets for gigs.
