The perfect spot to lose a lot of your free time. As every alley, they also have pool tables and other means of having fun. The bowling alleys are good, and you can enjoy your game without being bothered by the other groups who are playing.

I ventured into Rockstar Bowling a few months ago and have to say it was right up my alley. ;) (couldn't help myself, forgive me.)

My partner and I were invited to participate in a True Local event happening here and had an amazingly enjoyable night.

The bar was great with a great range if Vodkas as well as cocktails. I have to admit I wasn't sure bowling and alcohol would mix but as it turns out I think I bowled better under the influence.

The lanes were glowing and it really did have an edgy rock feel about it. Which made me feel like I could come here with friends and not feel like a dork as I would with a traditional bowling alley.

I have a broad taste in music and thoroughly enjoyed the tunes as I strutted up for my turn.

There were various other arcade style games to play also.

I had a very enjoyable night and would recommend if you enjoy a bit of healthy competition on your nights out.

I visited Rockstar as part of a group of LocalStar reviewers who were invited for a night out. The staff went to a great deal of trouble to accommodate us and were extremely friendly - they couldn't do enough for us. Me and two friends stayed until closing time and wow! Five Stars for fun, definitely! Bowling, pool, air hockey, car and bike and motorcycle video games - we had a few from the excellent and inexpensive bar and we were a bit squiffly - but MAXIMUM FUN! for sure. There's even an entertainment area and exercise/dancing classes, for a very reasonable price. We are certainly planning to go back for more! With the convenient location right in Melbourne Central, it couldn't be easier to get to!

Couple of organisational hiccups, which I've docked half a star for. It took a long time to get bowling shoes, but it was a very busy night. The bar person spent a long time answering phones and also ordering things seems to involve a long process of entering things on a computer. Also they were just about out of size 12 bowling shoes and the ones I got looked like they had been eaten by rats. Having said that, most everybody else got really spiffy shoes. The loo is a really long way away at the back.

I'm not Mr. Sport so I've never been bowling, but I know a lot of alleys in the outer suburbs are in hard-to-get-to places. This place has lots of comfy seating and is quite sophisticated. This would be a terrific place for a date! She will have a really exciting, memorable night and think you are terrific fun - and there's lots of great restaurants in Melbourne Central to grab a bite halfway through the evening. And it won't break the bank. Definitely recommended. Thanks, guys.

Rockstar bowling... the name says it all. All the usual joys of ten-pin bowling with notes of luxury, glitz and glamour. Their spacious venue includes a function room, an area for live music out the back, and the amusements traditionally found at a bowling alley: pool tables, air hockey and various video games. However, at Rockstar bowling, you can relax on comfy couches while waiting to bowl; in fact, there are couches everywhere. The elaborate yet unobtrusive lighting and unique decor add to the stylish ambience, and visitors are just as likely to find themselves shooting pool beneath a glittering chandelier. Best of all, there is a gloriously complete vodka bar (so complete, they have a cocktails menu on their website), and skilled bar staff ready to mix - or perhaps discover? - your drink of choice. Despite all this, the prices are far cheaper than your local run-of-the-mill bowling alley. Truly amazing.

My experience with bowling is on the Wii, so I was pleasantly surprised with Rockstar Bowling. This is a fun night out with the bowling alley lit in nice coloured lighting and great music playing while you bowl, even with some bubbles floating down the alley! Must mention the Vodka Bar/Lounge area - an intimate and classy area to enjoy some quiet drinks away from the bowling lanes. The strawberry and cream infused vodka with lemonade tasted so delicious! There's also air hockey & pool tables, car racing games, etc.

Who would have thought that tucked away in Melbourne Central there would be an amazing vodka bar and a huge bowling alley. After sampling a few vodkas - and yes they really do taste different - and a couple of champagnes the curtains were drawn back to reveal our bowling alleys for the evening. And it really was fun - and lived up to its name of Rockstar bowling. The music was amazing - from Jimmi Hendrix to Thin Lizzy (OK so I am pre Gen Y!) - and really added to the fun.
There's also pool tables, air hockey and video games. Take a group of friends and have a great night out!

If you want to go bowling and have a few drinks, why would you go anywhere else?!!!

Honestly, Rockstar Bowling is a fantastic little bowling alley in the heart of the city that boasts a wonderful atmosphere, great service, and is a great place to take a few friends for a couple of hours of fun!

This bowling alley is much more than your typical bowling alley and you will be sure to have a great time!

The Vodka Lounge at the back is also a highlight that you must experience! This classy lounge area has a full bar that and is a great place to sit and enjoy a few drinks!

And while you are there, you might as well take a little bit of time to play a game of pool, air hockey or a bit of Daytona!

Rockstar Bowling is highly recommended for the 'after work wind down', or the 'mid-shopping break'.

    Enjoy!

p.s. - and Dont worry if you haven't got any socks - you can buy a fresh new pair for $3!

This was such a great evening! When you first walk in you're greeted to a full bar, comfy seats, a bit of mood lighting and some great music pumping! Once the curtains open to reveal the bowling lanes you see the stylish couches to sit on and more great music to listen to whilst you wait your turn for a bowl. With friendly staff and lots of character it makes a fantastic atmosphere! After bowling there's plenty of other games like air hockey and pool that will keep you entertained all night! Perfect for anyone up for a bit of fun!

What an awesome way to catch up with friends or family. Great venue with heaps of ambience. Parking right there at central so really easy to get to. From the decadent chandeliers to the cosy cornered lounges crying out for a butt to take it's place. Friendly bar staff happy to tickle your taste buds with infused vodka (go for the strawberry... yum) and plenty more to do than muscle up with a bowl. Really enjoyed my night here and got a chance to even show strangers how much I honestly do suck at bowling - even reminded myself how bad I am, but I did it in style. Please go, take some friends, promise you will enjoy doing something a lil different than the typical catch up, and possibly even see some competitive streaks emerging!!! HAVE FUN

I had heard of this place, but never considered going until the red carpeted, champagne greeted, True Local event. What a great place with an array of Vodka's to chose from. You could also create you on special blend of vodka with a selection of flavors. Tonight was vodka strawberry and cream. Went exceptionally well with lemonade I must say.

Of course there is the bowling as well. Bowling shoes that fit - there was a first. Fun bowling lanes with music, video screens and not to mention the bubble machine. Tacky? Maybe, but it was a fun evening.

Well worth a second visit to explore the remaining vodka selection.

This bustling little hub accommodates all !

From its funky vodka bar (where you can invent your own personal vodka blend and then have your own personal bottle on hand), to its snazzy bowling lanes (positioned nicely under sparkling chandeliers) and its live music venue out back - this place is a winner !

Try the oh so moreish Resurrection cocktail in the vodka Bar (Lychees, Apple Martini, Lime and Grenadine). Its devine and goes down far too easily !

If you are hungry, pop accross to the Melbourne Central food hall opposite and then come back to finish your night. You will have a ball !
