    What a find!! I have been in Australia 5 and a half years now and have had a lot of disasters with my hair, that was until I came across Rokk Ebony Mentone. I have been going to this salon now for about 2 and a half years and cannot praise it highly enough. Daniella cuts my hair beautifully, knowing exactly what suits me and I can trust her to make any changes in style with confidence knowing that she will get it right. Billie colours my hair with skill and always has me leaving the salon with perfect natural looking shiny hair.
    The service in the salon is fantastic, every stylist and junior knows all of the regular customers by first name and are extremely courteous and cannot do enough for you. An added bonus is a lovely cappuccino or glass of wine.
    Anybody that I have recommended is also equally delighted.

    I've been to Rokk Ebony 3 times now and I am more than impressed. I had my haircut by Anthony on my last visit and I am understatedly happy with it. I have been looking for a good stylist for a couple of yrs since my last went overseas and I have finally found one! I have also had a 3/4 colour and cannot reccomend highly enough the precision and care taken (I am very picky and will pay through the roof for good hair and they are very reasonably priced). Thanks Anthony for a good, easy to care for cut, great un-fake, un-annoying genuine interest in getting my hair right...and an ability to comprehend/ interpret what I want with expert knowledge and input- Anything less and I will always run for my life. I have reccomended Rokk Ebony before and I will continue to do so.

    I've been to the Mentone salon twice, and both times had bad experiences. I asked for a full-head of highlights in my brown hair and ended up with jet-black hair all over. When they redid it, I ended up with blonde roots and jet-black top half. It looked revolting. When I explained (nicely) that it wasn't like the photo I had shown them, they cracked it, were incredibly rude and I was just so shocked with the poor level of service that I was given. That was until I complained, and then everyone was as nice as pie and tried to book me in for a second appointment. The cut was ok, but was done in about 10 minutes and looked as though nothing had been done at all when I washed my hair the next morning. Really disappointed and quite a waste of money in my opinion.

    Just got back from a cut and colour and am very impressed. This is a business that has got it together (and I'm a fairly tough critic having moved from NYC). Service was excellent. Haircut was great, love the colour. My stylist Manal was sweet, actually listened to what I wanted and did a great job. The price is reasonable for the service and time you get. Love the little extras like lattes and text reminders of your next appointment. I was searching for a regular salon and I've found it now!
