    My husband and I went to the Royal Hotel last week and the food was great value. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection at $23.00 and my husband had the rissoles, which was the best value at $12.00, plus all you can eat buffet of veges and salads. However it is more a "mans pub" set up, and although has been renovated quite nicely it is definitely targeting a certain demographics. We would definately go back for a cheap meal during the week, but not for a "wonderful evening out."

    Love the royal. Great cheap meals. We went through the week and it was very average (I got charged a lot for a small plate of vegies and had to pay again for salad) BUT weekend food was excellent.
