    Ultimate Sydney

    Thursday, July 22, 2010

This drive is a windy one. You’ll go around corners, twists and turns that lead deep into the bush. Just when it feels like you’ve gone too far, the trees start to thin and rows of houses appear. Just 30km south of Sydney’s CBD, Bundeena is the small town surrounded by national park on one side and ocean on the other. It’s also accessible by passenger ferry, so park the car in Cronulla to boat it. Fish and chips from the local chippery are best enjoyed on the wharf’s grassy shore. If you want to work up an appetite, there are bike trails, walking tracks and several beaches to explore before lunch.
