Royal Thailicious Restaurant

We arrived last night at 9pm (with a booking made two days prior) to find the restaurant still half full (although most tables had finished their meals and were talking over drinks) however the staff were already cleaning and moving tables. The restaurant advertises to close at 10pm and we were finished by 9:55 however the atmosphere during that time was terrible. Tables were pushed to the walls, the floor was mopped (so we enjoyed the fumes of a strong floor cleaner), rubbish bags were carried out through the restaurant and the outside alfresco tables and fences were stacked up in the restaurant to the point that I thought we might get packed into the corner! My partners Thai green curry was very nice (although the order was incorrect as we specifically asked for it with tofu) but my satay sauce was very average and the small diced pieces of tofu is like no Thai vegetarian food I've eaten across Thailand or Australia.

We ate here 6 months ago in summer and the atmosphere was great but we will not return. Clearly the staff were keen to leave by 10pm, Wish they'd not accepted our booking if that was the case. For the record two large tables left the restaurant only 15 mins and 5 mins ahead of us so we were not the only two people holding them up from closing! We could barely pay as there was so much furniture stacked in the restaurant that we couldn't reach the cash register!

Wonderful night out for a group of 12. Staff were very good and the food was the best Thai that I ever had. Only problem was the place was very crowded. Though it was understandable as it was the weekend. Love you all at Royal Thailicious. See you again soon. Tony

I dont know how other people can come up with a bad review for this place. You cannot get in on Friday and Saturday unless you make a booking. That is a sure sign of a very good restaurant. We have been going to this place since it was first openned. We have been going there at least twice a month. They are trully the best Thai Restaurant in the west. They are always busy. I heard about all sort of good stories about this place. See it for yourself and like us, you will be very happy.

Yes WOW what an experience, one to forget and never repeat again, would have to be the worst Thai food we haev had, small tasteless entree (Curry Puffs) mains far too salty we had to send one back (Thai Stir Fried Chilli Beef) when the second came there was no spice so ask for some chillis, they bought green chillies, incredibly they said they ran out of red chillies, we shoukld have bought our own.

So my advice go to Coles next door and get a frozen dinner instead

WOW what an experience !
The ambience is great.
Staff are very friendly and speak great english !
Food - All the main meals are excellent especially the PAD SEE EW.
Service is quick and the owner greets each table, very nice touch.
Very well priced !!!

We were sat at a broken table when there was only one other couple in the place.
We tried to order but ended up with a lunch special because they didnt know what we were trying to say and kept asking did we want a lunch special.
They brought us water and mine had something floating in it.
Our main meal came before we had finished eating out entrees and they were so bad at one point my partner was gagging and wanted to spit his out. He asked for a surviette and they had no idea what he was asking so he just swallowed it.

  We had a wonderful day at the Royal. Food, services and decor were perfect. We had a group of 12 and gave them $30 in tips on top of our bill. Despite the place was packed, we had all of our meals and drinks quickly. The place was packed on Monday night (lucky I made a booking as I was told they are very popular). They must have done good to draw such a large crownd on Monday nights. I give them 10/10. I was told that they are booked out every weekend.
