    Left RUN (Nundah, now Toowong) in charge of my property while I was overseas. Came back to scene of utter disgrace, including a jungle of a yard infested with rats, scrap metals and rotting food, a completely destroyed front fence, and damages over $5000.00. Called the national manager who took relatively no action.The ONLY thing that saved me was my landlord insurance.

    Agree with izy, don't know or understand the RTA. Try to screw tenants over, make up rules concerning lease price and dates, never willing to negotiate on anything, rude and incompetent. Know your rights, don't let them waste your time as they are all young and arrogant. They will try to steal your money, they will attempt to squeeze every dollar out of you while refusing to help you with house issues. Don't bother calling, they won't pick up, don't leave a message either as it will just hit a bird. Give them at least 2-3 weeks to return calls and 6-8 weeks to start acknowledging that the house needs repair or that there is some kind of issue. While renting from run they will crush your soul and any hope you had in mankind. Run away as fast as you can

    Rented a unit from them for 6 months, which in that time they managed to plunder even the most simple of tasks like having a working front door key! However the most irritating problem with these guys is that we felt they have little understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and after having to correct them on a number of times we felt it best to move else where and sign another agent. Avoid them if possible, if you must rent with them then ensure you stand your ground and unfortunetly you'll have to double check everything they tell you (just visit www.rta.qld.gov.au).

    I have been renting the same property from these guys for 5 years. Over that time, they have always been really quick to deal with any issues - water leakage under the kitchen floors, toilet that would not stop running etc. The tradies are always there within 24 hours and the problems get fixed. My Property Manager even organised for the Waterwise people to come out and give us our water saving showerhead and make 2 taps water saving. We have had about 12 Property Managers over this time, and a different person always turns up for our regular inspections - which is frustrating because I have to explain pre-existing issues with the house every time. I also find it is impossible to reach my Property Manager by phone, so I always just email them.
