It's over rated. I've been there three times and I wasn't impressed at all.

Being Japanese, I know there are better Ramen places in Japan so I probably shouldn't compare.

But even then, it wasn't that good. When I went there first 2 times, it was "OK". I didn't like their Gyoza much but I thought noodle was acceptable.

But when I went back there for the 3rd time, the noodle was as tough as ever and the soup was VERY oily. My husband and I were very disappointed.

This place introduced me to ramen, and after trying it at some other places, they just can't compare! Lines are considerable, so arrive an hour or so earlier than you would normally go. I often get the tokyo chicken ramen, or the salted pork one which is No 2 I think. My mother has had the miso and complained that it was too salty, although you can request that it be watered down.
The fried chicken (chicken karaage) is definitely a hit :)

Having eaten at many different ramen places in Sydney, I must say this is the best so far. Unless you go at 6pm or 9pm, then expect to line up and watch the people inside slurping in their ramen noodles. Typically, you could line up about 20-40mins, but it is well worth the wait.

Once inside, order the special ramen (which is not on the menu), and for the extra hungry, you can order another bowl of noodles (just noodles) for $3 to have with your remaining soup stock.

Best ramen I have found in Sydney. It's a tiny little joint, and if you come here on a Friday or Saturday or Sunday night, you will be lining up to get in.

Order the 'special'. It's not listed on the menu, but it's a combination of numbers 1, 2, and 3 on the menu.

I think they do cash only, and don't do takeaway orders of ramen. Be prepared to eat and go, or you will get stared down by the hungry people waiting outside.

Really great food- but please don't go... the lines to eat there already go far enough :)

A tiny, out of the way restaurant with one of the best Ramens in town. I met a friend here for an early lunch and was astounded at the long line outside waiting to get in. Apparently this is the norm!!! Very simple, very basic but also very authentic.

Great little ramen noodle joint, really easy to get to from the city. They've got their top 5 serving ramen noodle dish which are all very good and if you've got a big appetite you should try the rice balls that they've got. Be prepared for a little wait though, yes its that popular.
