SafeHome House Inspections has been in operation since 2004 and conducts quality Pre-Purchase Building and Pest Inspections in Melbourne.  

We are members of the highly reputable Master Builders Association of Victoria & are all qualified Building Inspectors (Diploma Building Surveying) and Timber Pest Inspectors. Unfortunately, in Victoria there is no requirement  for persons carrying out pre-purchase Building Inspections to be qualified in any way - you can feel safe that we are qualified, educated and experienced in the location of defects and have a knowlede of subsequent cause and rectification of defects.  

We carry professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance for both building inspections and Timber Pest Termite Inspections.

We organise the entire inspection for you via the agent and will deliver a detailed building inspections report & pest inspection report to you on the night of the inspection.  This includes detailed photographs of any defects, structural faults & maintenance problems, all with explanations to assist you to understand what we are depicting.  We are available at any time, free of charge for any verbal advice you may need.  We pride ouselves on our personalised service and will help you in any way we can to understand the implications of the building inspection results.

We currently used the latest technology including the Termatrac T3i that can detect termites in the wall cavity (radar technology) and also the Teso 875 Thermal Imaging Camera for unseen roof and shower leaks as well as potential mouldy areas that can not be visually seen.
