This is the best teppanyaki . It is well costed, and for the fun - quality of food and service - how can you go wrong. The dcor isn't flash, but - keeping in mind that this is a restaurant which is renowned for having food thrown around, including raw egg.
Can't speak highly enough of the staff and service. Definitely give it a go - you won't regret it; and neither will your wallet.
My husbands reassuring words were "the decore is nothing to look at - but the food is great" as we walked throught he door last Sunday night with two excited kids - thrilled by the promise of having food thrown at them! Our chef didn't dissappoint - there were fresh eggs thrown around the room and chopped egg haphazardly targeted for any open mouth at the table. Awesome service - great fresh food that melts in your mouth and the Teppanyakki chefs are both funny and experienced. Great meal, great wine & excellent price too. Definately worth a visit.
What can be fresher than food that is cooked from scratch when you order it, and what can be more fun than food that is cooked right in front of you?
Teppanyaki, of course!
The Sakari Teppanyaki Restaurant has three Teppanyaki grills which comfortably seat 10 people each. When we went, there was a bit of a wait because there were only two chefs, and one of them had to finish cooking before moving onto the third table.
Still, the wait was worth it because the food was fresh, tasty, and served with the customary cheeky Teppanyaki flair, with lots of food being thrown about.
The restaurant also has several small tables and an a la carte menu.
The waitstaff were all very courteous and attentive, and prices were quite reasonable.
