Well, where do we start... we booked into this restaurant to celebrate Renees birthday on the pretence of having a great meal. The night started well enough as we were seated quickly enough and served a drink within a reasonable time considering how busy they were. We ordered the pork belly for entree too share and for mains we ordered the chicken mignion and the lamb medellions. The the pork belly came out after about 30 minutes we were both hungry at this stage and were looking forward to devour the entree. To our disappointment it was ONE piece the size of a credit card with no sauce to go with it.. That cost $30 dollars.. thats right $30 dollars for a small piece of pork that was dry and barely stopped the hunger we both had. After another 45 minutes our mains were served. The chicken would of have to of been the thirstiest chicken when it was alive because it was the driest piece of meat I have had in my entire life of eating out. They were 2 small pieces that made my mouth dry with every bite. Very, very disappionted. The lamb was okay, but of ten barely a pass mark. The lamb was cooked well enough but the flavours just did not marry each other. Both the main meals were roughly $40 dollars each, pricey stuff for average main meals. We don't mind spending good money on good food but we dont like wasting good money on very average sub standard food. This restaurant would have to be the most over rated over priced on the gold coast. We should of stayed home with a bottle of wine.. ordered a pizza.. saved $100.. and went to bed feeling full and satisfied..

Pleasant place for a drink. Meals we thought were a bit more expensive than other place we ate at on our holiday.

After purposefully walking past the numerous restaurants on the waterfront of the Marina Mirage. We found the best of these, where we were seated at a table over looking the water, viewing, luxury boats, with a small shoal of fish literally at our feet.
We found the menu very appetizing and extensive. We were more than happy with our choices. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and cooked to perfection, the service was excellent. Relaxed in the lounge after lunch where there is an extensive bar. A very pleasing experience, a great choice. Will return

This day we had been Whale watching, and we came back hungry. .(and by the way, left hungry) Walking along the Marina we noticed on the menu board at Saks.....oysters Kilpatrick - $19.00 with a Han beer ..Special of the day, we were going to have that and leave because the prices we bit expensive. But seeing we were hungry we order a main meal..
The wait staff were nice enough. We both ordered mains at the same time as entree, pork belly aprox $24.00 sounded good. The oysters came out in normal waiting period. These were good, nothing to rave about.
We waited sooo long for the mains aprox 45 mins from the time we finished the entre, this was wed lunch so they were not busy.
Wow was this meal small I thought this was a sample of the main meal to come.I wouldnt have minded so much if it was nice. The pork belly was a slab of aprox 2in by 4in under cooked fat with chewy rind,
There were 2 grilled prawns that when you cut their heads off, this dark head juice oozed outthis was a turn off.
There were 3 bits of chorizo sausage sitting on a dollop of what tasted like tomato relish, the relish was good.
The best part of this place is sitting at a table at the edge of the water and watching fish swimming around, that was entertaining us while we waited and waited.

I come here each December for end of year corporate drinks and the views are great. The bar area is large and it's good for corporate functions. Plenty of seating around the outer edge of the restaurant with good views and a nice lounge area under the fish tank on the entry level.
The food is fairly standard fare with most of the finger food being deep fried or crudities with dip.
