I took my fiance out for his birthday for lunch and the staff hurried my order. I chose the dips platter as an entree and 2 of the 3 dips were disappointing. I asked the staff to take it back to the kitchen (worth $12.95) and see what's wrong with it and they replied that they'll ask the other staff to sort it out. The mains came out and they still hadnt returned and even avoided eye contact every time I tried to get their attention. My fiance was fed up and walked up to the staff who were extremely rude and said that the dips were normal and would not compensate the dish in any way. -

I returned for a lunch and opted for one of their turkish breads. It was a meal. The turkish bread was double cut so it had lots of filling and the fries that came with it were moreish. I'd heard that there could be a bit of a wait however our meals came out in a very reasonable time after ordering. -

I went there last Sunday for a breakfast meal offer. They advised me that they could not help because I need to book it a day before. I looked at the offer and advised them that there was nothing about booking it. They then rudely responded with "Well. We can't help you and we are booked out!!". There was no more than 4 couples in the building of which fits more than 150 people. I do not recommend this place to anyone and suggest you go elsewhere. I give it half a star because it is open on Sundays. -

I'vebeen wanting to go here for AGES!! Cheering that I got to go here the other night for dinner with friends. Although the dining experience wasn't as great as I expected, I won't let that stop me from going back because I really do think it is a great place to go and the experience of the food, tearoom, drinks and atmosphere should keep you wanting to go back any chance you get. I ordered the Char Sui and that was delicious! Wasn't much of a fan with the Malay cake, but the Empanada Dessert was ever-so-tastey!! The next day I craved for more and more... Definitly going to come back to Saldechin and bring some friends as well who haven't been. I'm sure they'd love it as well! Oh and we just got in for happyhour and loaded up on some $10 martinis and international beers - it was great! =D -

Luxurious surroundings and an alcove of peace and quiet in the city. Great place to meet for coffee - or excellent range of leaf tea - and still be able to have a conversation. What is provided for yum cha is a bit ordinary - but if you want yum cha, there are much better places to go for that in Adelaide.
