Our overall experience was very disappointing. If it wasn't for the really beautiful food this restaurant would be a flop. After eating our meal the bill arrived very quickly on our table. We let it sit there as we talked and sipped away on our drinks. We were asked barely 5 minutes later if we could please settle the bill in a very unprofessional manner, yet the lack of customer regard did not end here. After had settled the bill, the staff attempted to take away our nearly finished drinks, which I had to ask them to leave on the table as we were not done. Barely minutes after the staff came over to the table and told us there were people waiting and said 'you need to finish your drinks now because you are holding up a table for other people'. There was no one waiting in the queue that they proceeded to tell us about unless they had put an invisible spell on the group. There was no politeness about them or any other staff that served us. Some training for the staff on how to manage their customers at this restaurant would certainly be of benefit. Our table was not the only table to asked to move on in a very rude fashion, four other tables around us were told to leave for this invisible line. Me being me could bite my tongue and so our way out, while the staff that thought they were on a power trip were standing with the other ever so busy staff, I said to them in a very loud voice so the rest of the restaurant could hear that "We are very offended in the manner in which you asked us to leave. We were planning on ordering more drinks (which we were) and their rudeness has put us off staying and potentially ever coming back". Their reply of "Oh well if you told us we would have got some for you" did not win me over and my reply of "It's not worth it once you've been asked to leave" encourages many smirks off the within ear shot patrons of the restaurant. Just to top the experience my orange juice was $4.50 for a small white wine glass size of 'off the supermarket shelf' - NOT freshly squeezed - I could buy the whole bottle for that!!!!!
