This place is a little gem tucked away in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Food is of the highest quality, menu is varied, and service is excellent.

Norman Chung trained in Hong Kong and France before opening this refined spot. With Mediterranean style alfresco dining and friendly staff, it’s easy to settle in for a tasty serve of garlic prawns drizzled with coriander pesto cream on a bed of potato crab cakes with chilli tomato jam. Or, savour the szechuan duck spring roll with cucumber salad and chilli plum jam. Other menu items include pastas, rice and noodles at night, and Mexican beef salad for lunch. A nice selection of boutique wines includes quality South Australian names and a few French bubbles. Mains average: $24.
