    I have eaten at Sammy's at Brunswick and also when he was in St Kilda and Templestowe. The pizza base is always fresh and the toppings are generous, never burnt. Sammy is always behind the pizza bench and he knows exactly how I like my pizza. My wife mostly has the calzone and she always loves it. The wait staff are really excellent, James, one of Sam's sons greets everyone with a smile. He knows what my wife and son have before we sit down. Always happy and always smiling. Whenever I go to Sammy's I am NEVER DISAPPOINTED.

    Natalie your coments really surprise me! I have eaten at Sammy's on many occasions and the food has always been excellent! I have eaten my way through the entire menu (just about) and in response to your questions about the pasta - it is excellent! The fettucine Pollo & Avocado is great, one of my favourites, as well as the spaghetti marinara - with huge pieces of seafood as well as prawns, mussells and calamari. I can assure you the pizza bases are hand made, what do think Sammy is doing behind the pizza bench? He's rolling out balls of dough to be cooked fresh! The staff are nice and friendly, there is one really tall guy who is great. He knows before I even sit down what glass of wine I'm going to have !

    The waiting staff are excellent and the service is great! But that's all. I had a Bruschetta pizza which was on the specials board and it is definitely overpriced for what it is. The pizza base looked like it was a frozen one and was cold and chewy. The topping was generous but the tomatoes where tasteless. I couldn't taste any garlic and it would have been nice if it was drizzled with olive oil.
    My husband had a Capricciosa pizza, I had a slice of his and it was burnt on top and the toppings tasted dry. I didn't like the pizza base at all. I would like to hear if the pasta is any good, I would give them a second chance because they were really friendly.
