This was one of the biggest travel mistakes I have ever made. Was in Mackay with a mate for work and decided to have dinner at this restaurant after a hard day's work.
Service was poor.
This restaurant gives insult to Singaporean food - its been the first time Ive ordered Singaporean Char Kuay Teow (Fried Flat Rice Noodles) that doesnt taste as close to the original culinary dish and worst of all, didn't contain any chines pork sausages and even had a sprinkle of sesame seeds!!! So un-original!
How could you also call yourself a Singaporean restaurant when over 80% of your dishes doesnt originate from Singapore??!!?!!?
Being a lover of chilli, we requested for some sambal but they gave us, which what I believe, some sort of Rendang base that you use for cooking..omg. I then asked them for some other chilli they had and they gave me a mixture of chilli sauce and chilli oil!
Truly a bad experience and what affects me most is that this place gives a wrong context and exposure to true Singaporean food.
serving absolutely rubbish food, not singaporean at all. We ordered beef rendang as one of the chef recommendation dish, turn out to be canned curry which you could buy them from woolie or coles. Disgusted by the dishonesty.
