    Before making the decision of booking in to Sandiacre B&B, there are a few things that you might need to take into consideration:
    a) There is no key to your room - which means that all valuables can be accessed by anyone;

    b) Extremely rude behaviour towards guests - the management tell you a million times not to touch anything - it is exactly like visiting a museum. One is not allowed to drink any red wine in the room and if we wanted to eat take-away, they would need to set a table for us because take-away is greasy and that table is timber and 150 years old;

    c) the in-room spa bath is an absolute disappointment - no only the size (hardly big enough for 1 guest to stand in) but there is a sign in the bathroom stating that one is not allowed to use the spa between 7:30pm and 8:00am;

    d) 7-day refund policy - No matter how dissatisfied one is with the service and the room, no refund is provided to you, even for a 2-night stay;

    e) Uncomfortable rooms - there is no-where comfortable in the room where one can seat and relax. The couch is made of cane - one would be more comfortable seating on the floor. NO TV in the room either.

    We are both managers in the hospitality / tourism industry and not only were we outraged by the service at the B&B but also this establishment should not be open to the public in the first place. This is more of a museum than actually a Bed & Breakfast.

    Despite not getting a refund for either of 2 nights we pre-paid, we preferred to stay elsewhere, at another B&B with a friendly and accommodating host.
