Sapori di Roma offers essentially an extensive pasta & pizza menu, but a close look at both of these categories will reveal some distinctly different dishes, rarely encountered. While you discover these new tastes and the wonderful produce, you will also be getting excellent value for money, further underlined by Sapori di Roma's generous policy of BYO without corkage. Breakfast and lunch 6 days, Monday to Saturday. Dinner on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. You can ask friendly manager, Antonella about Set Menus for parties of 10 or more, and about business lunches and private functions.... Viva Roma !

    Shame on the location, if not, it will be packed all the time.
    The pizza is one of the best in Australia. Love eating the pastry part! Salad, pasta and desert is great too. It's a shame they only serve them Fri-Sun (it should be every night!!). I wish they are open later too as it's on Burwood Rd.

    It was closed when we wanted to dine, so call before you go to avoid disappointments.

    Great pizza and friendly service each time I keep on coming back here. If you love traditional italian style pizza with fresh ingredients and minimal topping then this is your perfect place!

    This place is always empty, I"ve been here a few times. The coffees are alright, the pizzas are dry and tasteless. THe biscuits/ chocolates are yum! The owner is friendly and talks alot, maybe a bit too much. The other staff members are RUDE and kept talking amongst themselves when I try to make an order. Very off putting and makes me feel like walking out.

    Maybe if I go back another time the food will get better.

    This is an affordable family restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisines cooked by Italians from Rome that know their stuff!

    The owners make the effort to get to know their customers so the service is very personal!

    Our meals were made on the spot, from scratch so there is no frozen meals or pre-made meals heated up. They provide quality meals made from authentic Italian ingredients with traditional recipes - they even prepared the sauce on the spot and delivered the meal to our table in record time!

    The coffee (I had a cappuccino) was outstanding. The best I have ever tasted and I have tried 7 baristas over the last 4 weeks in the Sydney CBD. The coffee is simply the best. One of the fantastic things about this restaurant is that they make their own food from scratch - try their home-made Italian biscuits. They have a range of cute little biscuits neatly laid out in the window at the front counter. They are a great little takeaway snack.

    Quality, home-made meals without the price tag with a great personal service by a friendly Italian family - give it a go!

    My wife and I went to Sapori di Roma a few weeks after it opened. But I only knew that by speaking to the owners. It certainly didn't feel like a new place in any of the bad ways - everything was organised, the staff were calm and happy and on a Sunday night, there were so many people coming in. It felt comfortable and enjoyable. The food was great - we had pasta, pizza and some Italian desserts. The pizza is genuine (the owners are Italian) and the desserts are home made. We were very happy with the service, the staff, the family friendly atmosphere and the food. And you know what, even the price was right. I am all for supporting new local businesses so I really recommend you go there.
