I was recommended to go to Sassafrass for breakfast by countless people around the area. The food was very nice, large servings and very healthy. The service was only so-so, I felt they were in a hurry to get more people in and were pushing us out. Meals are quite expensive but, as I said, they are very large servings.

This place is very ecclectic and provides great variety and quality of food. Only downside is that it is very hard to find a table as it is always so busy, and sometimes wait on food can be 30-45min. If you havent been, its well worth the visit - especially for weekend breakfast.

very homey, vintage feel about the cafe.. food is beautifully prepared and very reasonable.. function catering is brilliant - very inexpensive and amazing quality and range of choices..

I love the cosy, boho and independent feel of this place. Their soy chai lattes are the best in Brisbane and the food's always scrummy. Wish it had longer opening hours.

This deli has been open forever. Highly recommended for a casual lunch with some great menu items, and excellent people watching. Always a nice experience. Recommended.

A little bit of the old Paddington lingers at Sassafras. Mismatched furniture and a somewhat dishevelled garden make the place look like a share house for a bunch of arts students. Luckily, it's not sleek city style that Sassafras is after.
