    I recently purchased a Scoopon Voucher to use at Sauce Bar and Grill. It was a $49.00 voucher and you got a 3 course meal. I thought it was a fantastic deal so i purchased it for my partner and I to go to enjoy a night out together. Before we left I called the restaurant to ask if they were BYO, the management answered the phone and without even saying hello they put me on hold for over 5 mins. They didn't ask me why i was calling they just made me wait on hold. My question lasted no longer than 10 seconds. I thought this was very rude and bad customer service but i just let that go. When we arrived at the restaurant we ordered our meals, in the terms and conditions it said that if we wanted prawns we had to pay extra, i had no problem with that as it was clearly stated on the voucher. For our mains we ordered a steak each, which was cooked to perfection. After we had finished our meal we made our way to the front to pay for the bill. Then they printed out the bill and handed it to the staff to look after it. We had ordered a few drinks and was only expecting to pay for that but we had noticed that they had charged us for pepper sauce on our steaks. I have never been charged at any place for pepper sauce when I order a steak. I would just like to make aware anyone with a scoopon voucher that be prepared to pay extra for sauce on your steak, even though it does not say that in the terms and Conditions. If it was said in the terms and conditions i would have had no problem with paying extra. I would not go back there again.

    Sauce is awsum!!
    Food is fantastic- rib and steak combo is a must! and the mushroom sauce is to die for. Wine selection is also really good.
    Parking is really easy and once your inside the atmosphere is very chilled out and relaxed. I have taken many friends here and they always go back.
    It reasonable priced and the staff is really helpful and friendly.
    They also do take away which is really convenient.

    If you are looking for a restaurant that has it all, then you should really consider Sauce Bar & Grill.

    Firstly, it is located just off the beach, so the atmosphere is very much lively. Then, unlike any other popular beaches in Sydney, you can find parking spots with ease with most of them free just outside the restaurant.

    Coming in, you can feel the relaxed modern atmosphere: a combination of a lounge and a restaurant, and there is no unwritten 'dress code' so you really cant go wrong. It is not too crowded yet not too quiet -- just perfect. You will then be greeted with staff that are friendly and attentive who will always be able to assist you promptly with your order and needs.

    The last but not least, is the food. You really should not go pass the rib eye & ribs combo. The steaks are very soft and the ribs are tasty but not over-empowering. Then on certain days you can take advantage of their specials (such as 6-8pm two-course specials or Thursday's combo specials) and get a real value out of already awesome food offerings!

    Fantastic restaurant. I have been going here for over 2 years now and have never had a bad meal yet.
    Food is to die for and their Ribs and steaks are fantastic.

    This is one of my favoutire places in coogee. What ever you do if you dine here you must try the ribs!! They are by far the best ribs I have ever had. Or why not go for the Rib combo!

    Sauce has a modern and welcoming atmosphere, reinforced by the helpful wait staff. Their steaks are cooked to perfection and their mushroom sauce is to die for. Never before have I been tempted to lick the sauce from my plate in a restaurant, but I thought about it at Sauce.

    This is a really good grill and the staff and owners are always friendly and happy to have a chat if you want. I met one of the guys BJ and he was a very nice guy and to top it of the Ribs were to die for. Will be back in no time.

    best ribs in the Eastern Subrubs! i love the funky chilled out atmosphere - the staff are great and all all the meals are a decent serving size! for entrees - garlic prawns are great
