I have been here a few times but they are really over priced, especially when it comes to servicing. I now go to the guy on the other street. They are around 30% cheaper and they often does extra work for me at no extra charge. I was going to trade my Vespa in on a new one and the price they offered me was just ridiculous.

I have just bought my scooter from Scooter Central and cannot recommend them enough. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave me great advise on which scooter would suit my needs. The coffee machine is definitely the best in town too...... I can't wait to go back and get my first service with them (which won't be far off now) and have another coffee.

All in all......GREAT SERVICE........GREAT PEOPLE............GREAT STORE!!!!

Great customer service until they broke a verbal contract by not delivering our scooters by the end date promised. They refused to give back our deposit when we cancelled the order due to their lack of having goods in stock! They stated that it was our circumstances which had changed , which is true as we had figured out how to use one vehicle and only when they failed to deliver did we decide that it was a sign that we could do without the extra. They kept $300 of our deposit after we waited 6 weeks for nothing. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone. we even offered $100 as good will but they declined.

  I see you mentioned your situation changed after Scooter Central had already placed the order on your say so. Seems to me you are being a bit tough. Placing a deposit is part of your commitment for the sale to proceed. I didnt need 6 years of law school to know that.

  If I understand correctly from what has been stated by the purchaser is the contract agreed upon by both parties is the goods were to be available to the plaintiff no later than an agreed date. If the seller was unable to meet this term the seller by law is required to refund in full the purchasers deposit. The purchaser may at their descretion agree to extend to a later deliver date Unfortunately it is probably not worth a purchasers time and effort to pursue a $300 loss.

Staff were very friendly but I found out after spending $500+ in addition to a new scooter that they had a 15% discount on goods that weekend. When I asked about it, they only offered the discount to me if I bought more clothing. I happily took an additional $1000 to a very knowledgable staff at Freedom Cycles, who gave me far more practical advice and guidance on clothing, boots and helmets than what was on offer at Scooter Central. Staff who did first service also noted a loose front disc on the scooter, which would have gone through Scooter Central's safety check!!

5 Time Motor Dealer of the Year can't be wrong. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable and bought my scooter there. Runs like a dream.

Would not recommend. Scooter was put in for a service (expensive!) they claimed to have fixed a problem, which after the service became worse, so bad in fact that the scooter had to be returned for additional expensive repairs.
Service was strictly average at best.
Would never EVER go back.

Outstanding customer service. Great range of quality scooters for every price range. Winner of 2007 True Local Motor Dealer Award. The best accessories range I've seen anywhere. Parts, servicing, hire scooters - they do it all. Excellent website. Don't miss this one.
